William Duilio Aguirre Villaviconcio (born 27 December 1962) is a Nicaraguan long-distance runner. He competed in the men's marathon at the 1992 Summer Olympics and the 1996 Summer Olympics. [1]
Ingrid Kristiansen is a Norwegian former athlete. She was one of the best female long-distance runners during the 1980s. She is a former world record holder in the 5000 metres, 10,000 metres and the marathon. Kristiansen was a World Champion on the track, roads and cross-country, becoming the first athlete to win World titles on all three surfaces. At the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, she finished fourth in the first women's Olympic marathon. At the 1988 Seoul Olympics, she dropped out of the 10,000 metres final while leading. Early in her career, she was also an elite cross country skier, winning several Norwegian titles and a European junior championships.

Marlene Elejarde Díaz was a sprinter from Cuba. At the 1968 Summer Olympics she helped win a silver medal in 4 x 100 metres relay, the first Olympic medal ever won by Cuban women. At the 1972 Summer Olympics she won another relay medal, this time a bronze. She died in a car accident in 1989.

Olga Appell Avalos is an American long-distance runner from Mexico, best known for winning the gold medal in the women's marathon at the 1991 Pan American Games in Havana, Cuba. She ran at the 1992 Summer Olympics the following year, but failed to finish the race. She competed for Mexico until February 25, 1994, at which point she switched allegiance to the United States. She represented her adopted country at the 1996 Summer Olympics. There she was eliminated in the qualifying heats of the women's 10,000 metres event.

The delegation included three track and field athletes; Tsepo Ramonene, Mosito Lehata and Mamorallo Tjoka, and one swimmer; Masempe Theko. Ramonene and Lehata qualified for the Games by meeting qualification standards, while Tjoka and Theko made the Olympics through wildcard places. Tjoka was selected as the flag bearer for the opening ceremony while Lehata held it at the closing ceremony. Ramonene finished last in the men's marathon and was revived by medical personnel during the event. Lehata did not progress to the semi-finals of the men's 200 metres and Tjoka finished in 90th in the women's marathon. Theko finished 73rd overall in the women's 50 metre freestyle and did not progress to the semi-finals of the event.
Antoni "Toni" Bernadó Planas is an Andorran long-distance runner who finished 87th in Men's marathon at the 1996 Summer Olympics, 49th at the 2000 Summer Olympics, 57th at the 2004 Summer Olympics, 58th at the 2008 Summer Olympics and 74th at the 2012 Summer Olympics. He is the first and so far only athlete to have finished five Olympic Marathons. He held the Masters M40 3000 metres world record for three years.
Dailín Belmonte Torres is a Cuban long-distance runner who specialises in marathon running. She won two medals at the 2009 Central American and Caribbean Championships in Athletics and was fourth at the 2011 Pan American Games. She has a personal best of 2:38:08 hours for the marathon, set at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
Paul Davies-Hale is an English former long-distance runner. He won the 2000 metres steeplechase at the 1981 European Junior Championships and went on to represent Great Britain at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics and the 1992 Barcelona Olympics.
