The World Cricket Classic was a Twenty20 cricket tournament which took place in Bermuda during April 2006. The participating players were all ex-cricketers with the exception of Bermuda who fielded their current squad. Four centuries were made in the tournament, one from Australian Ryan Campbell and South African Steven Jack, while Jack's opening partner Gary Kirsten passed 100 twice.

Twenty20 cricket, sometimes written Twenty-20, and often abbreviated to T20, is a short form of cricket. At the professional level, it was originally introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2003 for the inter-county competition in England and Wales. In a Twenty20 game the two teams have a single innings each, which is restricted to a maximum of 20 overs. Together with first-class and List A cricket, Twenty20 is one of the three current forms of cricket recognised by the International Cricket Council (ICC) as being at the highest international or domestic level. A typical Twenty20 game is completed in about three hours, with each innings lasting around 90 minutes and an official 10 minute break between the innings. This is much shorter than previously-existing forms of the game, and is closer to the timespan of other popular team sports. It was introduced to create a fast-paced form of the game which would be attractive to spectators at the ground and viewers on television.

Bermuda is a British Overseas Territory in the North Atlantic Ocean. It is approximately 1,070 km (665 mi) east-southeast of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina; 1,236 km (768 mi) south of Cape Sable Island, Nova Scotia; and 1,759 km (1,093 mi) northeast of Cuba. The capital city is Hamilton. Bermuda is self-governing, with its own constitution and its own government, which enacts local laws, while the United Kingdom retains responsibility for defence and foreign relations. As of July 2018, its population is 71,176, the highest of the British overseas territories.

Steven Douglas Jack is a former South African cricketer who played in two Tests and two ODIs from 1994 to 1995. He was a fast, aggressive bowler and formed a formidable opening partnership with Richard Snell for Transvaal in the early 1990s, as they tried to recapture the glory of the 'Mean Machine' years. He made his Test debut against New Zealand during the 1994–95 season, taking five wickets in the third Test. He was unfortunate to have his career coincide with that of Allan Donald, and it was then cut short due to injury. His first-class career spanned seven seasons in which he took 223 wickets with a best of 8 for 51 against Eastern Province. International cricket in the 2006–07 cricket season is defined by major statisticians, such as CricketArchive and Wisden, as those matches played on tours that started between September 2006 and April 2007. The 2001 ICC Trophy was a cricket tournament played in Ontario, Canada in 2001. It was the qualifying tournament for the 2003 Cricket World Cup. Three spots in the World Cup were on offer and the Netherlands, host nation Canada and for the first time, Namibia all qualified. Scotland failed to qualify losing in the 3rd place play off and finishing fourth. The Netherlands won the final against Namibia.

The 1994 ICC Trophy was a cricket tournament that took place in Kenya between 12 February and 6 March 1994. It was the fifth ICC Trophy tournament to be staged, and acted as the qualifying tournament for the 1996 Cricket World Cup.

The ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier is a Twenty20 International tournament run under the auspices of the International Cricket Council. The tournament serves as the final qualifying event for the ICC T20 World Cup for Associate Members. The first edition was held in 2008, with only six teams. This was increased to eight teams for the 2010 tournament and to 16 teams for the 2012 and 2013 editions, but reduced to 14 for the 2015 edition. Currently, the top six finishers in the qualifier move on to the ICC World Twenty20 tournament. Ireland are the most successful team, having won three tournaments and qualified for the World Twenty20 on every occasion the tournament has been played.

The 2008 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier was an eight-team tournament held in South Africa in February 2008 to decide the final two qualifiers for the 2009 Women's Cricket World Cup. South Africa and Pakistan qualified, with the hosts beating Pakistan in the final.

The 2013 ICC World Cricket League Division Three was a cricket tournament which took place from 28 April to 5 May 2013 in Bermuda. It formed part of the ICC World Cricket League and qualifying for the 2015 World Cup.

The Namibia national cricket team is the team that represents the Republic of Namibia and is governed by Cricket Namibia, an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 1992, and became part of the High Performance Program in 2007. They took part in the 2003 Cricket World Cup in South Africa, though they lost all their games. They have played in each edition of the ICC Intercontinental Cup.

The 2014 ICC World Cricket League Division Three was a cricket divisional tournament organised by International Cricket Council. It formed part of the ICC World Cricket League (WCL) and qualification for the 2019 World Cup. The top two teams in the tournament Nepal and Uganda qualified for the 2015 WCL Division Two tournament, to be held in Namibia, while the bottom two teams United States and Bermuda were relegated to the 2016 WCL Division Four tournament,.

It was the fifth edition of WCL Division Four, and the first World Cricket League tournament played in the United States. All matches were played at the Leo Magnus Cricket Complex.

The 2015 ICC Americas Twenty20 Division One was a cricket tournament held in the United States from 3–10 May 2015. All matches were played at the World Sports Park in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Four was an international cricket tournament that took place during April and May 2018 in Malaysia. It formed part of the 2017–19 cycle of the World Cricket League (WCL) which determined the qualification for the 2023 Cricket World Cup. The top two teams were promoted to the 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Three tournament and the bottom two teams were relegated to Division Five.
