Yumnam Sanathoi Devi is an Indian Wushu player, martial artist and athlete. She was awarded the Arjuna Award by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India in 2015 for Wushu. She won a bronze medal at the 2014 Incheon Asian Games. [1] She also won a bronze medal in the 2014 World Cup held at Indonesia and a silver medal in World Championships in 2011 and 2013. [2] She won the bronze medal in the 13th World Wushu Championships in November 2015. [3] In 2016, Devi won a silver for India in 52 kg category at the 8th Sanda World Cup, held at Xian, China. [4]

She hails from Yairipok Top Chingtha village in Thoubal district of Manipur, India. She took up traditional Chinese martial arts Wushu in 2003 under the guidance of Maibam Surbala Devi and later under Moirangthem Ibomcha Meitei.[ citation needed ]

Laishram Sarita Devi is an Indian boxer from Manipur. She is a national champion and a former world champion in the lightweight class. In 2009, she was awarded Arjuna award by the government of India for her achievements.

He won a bronze medal in the men's 60-kg sanda at the 2014 Asian Games.He also won a bronze medal in the men's 65-kg sanda at the 2018 Asian Games. He has won bronze medal in world championship 2012. He is one of the best mma athlete in India having 7 win - 1 loss.

She is the first Indian fencer to ever qualify for the Olympics after qualifying for the 2020 Summer Olympics. She is supported by GoSports Foundation through the Rahul Dravid Athlete Mentorship Programme. C.A. Bhavani Devi became the first Indian fencer to qualify for Olympics. The eight-time national champion had failed to qualify for the Rio Olympics.

The United States of America Wushu Kungfu Federation (USAWKF) is the governing body of wushu-kungfu in the United States. The USAWKF manages and selects the members of the US Wushu Team to compete in various international competitions including the World Wushu Championships, World Junior Wushu Championships, World Kungfu Championships, and the World Taijiquan Championships. The USAWKF also develops regional and national activities relating to Wushu, and has had great influence on how wushu taolu and sanda events are run in the United States. The USAWKF is a member of the Pan-American Wushu Federation (PAWF) and the International Wushu Federation (IWUF).

Poonam Khatri is an Indian Wushu player, martial artist and athlete. She won a gold medal in invitational sports of Wushu at the 13th South Asian Games at Lalitpur in Nepal, in Women's Sanda 75 kg. Khatri won the gold medal at the 2019 World Wushu Championships in Shanghai, China in the Women's Sanda 75 kg category.

Praveen Kumar is a sanda fighter from India. He became the world champion at the 2019 World Wushu Championships in Shanghai, China in men's Sanda 48 kg, and thus became the first Indian male athlete to a win gold medal at Wushu World Championships.

Naorem Roshibina Devi is an Indian wushu player who competes in the sanda division.

Pawan Gupta is a sanda fighter from India. He won a bronze medal at the 2012 Asian Wushu Championships held in Hanoi, Vietnam in men's Sanda 65 kg in. He represented India and won a silver medal in the Asian Sanda Championships, held in Singapore. Gupta is currently working with Indian Air Force since 2014.
