The 2011 World Wushu Championships was the 11th edition of the World Wushu Championships. [1] [2] It was held at the Ankara Arena in Ankara, Turkey from October 9 to October 14, 2011. This competition was also the qualifier for the 2013 World Combat Games and the 2013 World Games.

Turkish Ice Hockey Federation is the governing body of the ice hockey sport in Turkey. It was established in 1991 as the Turkish Ice Sports Federation. It is a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) since May 1, 1991. The TBHF is based in Ankara and its current chairman is Orhan Duman.
The 2008 Beijing Wushu Tournament was a wushu competition which was held from August 21 to 24, 2008 at the Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium in Beijing, China. The tournament was organised by the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games (BOCOG), the International Wushu Federation (IWUF), and the Chinese Wushu Association (CWA), and was held in tandem with the 2008 Summer Olympics.
Gülşah Kıyak is a Turkish female wushu practitioner competing in the Sanshou 60 kg division. She is a member of the Altınayak Youth and Sports Club in Esenler, Istanbul, where she is coached by İrfan Doruk. Since 2008, she is a student of Sports and Physical Education at the Uludağ University in Bursa.
Ayşegül Behlivan is a Turkish female Muay Thai and wushu practitioner.
Nurhayat Hiçyakmazer, nicknamed "Prenses Zeyna", is a Turkish female martial artist competing in the boxing, Muay Thai and wushu disciplines. She is a member of the Star Academy Sport Club in Adana, where she is coached by Hakan Şahade.
Muslim Salikhov, is a Russian mixed martial artist and Sanda fighter who currently competes in welterweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). A multiple time Wushu Sanda world champion, Salikhov occupies a place alongside Hossein Ojaghi as one of only two non-Chinese athletes to have won the Wushu Sanda King's Cup.
Lindswell, also known as Lindswell Kwok is an Indonesian former taijiquan athlete. She is one of the most renowned wushu taolu athletes of all time. In 2013, she was named Best Athlete by the Indonesian Olympic Committee, and received the Dharma Sports Medal, the highest sports award in Indonesia. For her achievements, Indonesian media dubbed her as the "queen of wushu".
Ng Shin Yii was a Malaysian wushu athlete. She retired at age 27 from international wushu after competing at the World Taijiquan Championships in Poland. She competed in the Taijiquan and Taijijian taolu events. Up until her retirement in 2016, she had represented Malaysia in every World Wushu Championships since 2009, winning one silver and one bronze in the 2009 and 2015 Championships respectively. She competed in the first two World Taijiquan Championships in Dujiangyan and Warsaw achieving three silver medals. At the age of 17, she won a bronze medal at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar.
Dương Thúy Vi is a wushu taolu athlete from Vietnam. She is one of the most renowned Southeast Asian athletes of all time, having won numerous medals at the World Wushu Championships, Asian Games, Southeast Asian Games, and the Asian Wushu Championships.
Jia Rui, is a retired professional wushu taolu athlete from Macau. He was one of the most dominant wushu taolu athletes of the 2000s and the early 2010s, and won the first gold medal for Macau at the Asian Games.
Geng Xiaoling is a retired professional wushu taolu athlete who represented Hong Kong. She is one of the most renowned taolu athletes of all time, having been a five-time world champion and a gold medallist at the Asian Games and the East Asian Games.
Wu Yanan is a retired wushu taolu and taijiquan athlete from China.
Ai Uchida, previously known as Ai Miyaoka, is a former wushu taolu and taijiquan athlete from Japan. She was a multiple-time medalist at the World Wushu Championships and the Asian Games, and also won the bronze medal in women's taijiquan at the 2008 Beijing Wushu Tournament. She is Japan's most renowned wushu athlete at the Asian Games.

Colvin Wang is a former wushu taolu athlete from the United States of America. He won a gold medal at the 2013 World Games.
Daisuke Ichikizaki is a former wushu taolu athlete from Japan. Though many of his international victories, he has established himself as one of Japan's most renowned wushu athletes of all time.
He Jing De is a former competitive wushu taolu athlete and stuntman originally from China. He was a member of the Beijing Wushu Team, an original member of Cirque du Soleil's KA, and a renowned athlete representing Hong Kong. He is a two-time world champion and medalist at the Asian Games and the East Asian Games, and is especially remembered for his unique wushu style.
Cho Seung-jae is a wushu taolu athlete from South Korea.
Zheng Tian Hui is a retired professional wushu taolu athlete from Hong Kong. She is a ten-time medalist at the World Wushu Championships and a three-time world champion. She also won a silver medal at the 2010 Asian Games.
Nguyễn Mạnh Quyền is a former wushu taolu athlete from Vietnam. He is a triple-medalist at the World Wushu Championships and at the Southeast Asian Games. He is also a double-medalist at the Asian Games in the men's daoshu and gunshu event. In 2012, he was the Asian Champion in gunshu.
