Yumnam Sanathoi Devi is an Indian Wushu player, martial artist and athlete. She was awarded the Arjuna Award by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India in 2015 for Wushu. She won a bronze medal at the 2014 Incheon Asian Games. [1] She also won a bronze medal in the 2014 World Cup held at Indonesia and a silver medal in World Championships in 2011 and 2013. [2] She won the bronze medal in the 13th World Wushu Championships in November 2015. [3] In 2016, Devi won a silver for India in 52 kg category at the 8th Sanda World Cup, held in Xi'an, China. [4]

She hails from Yairipok Top Chingtha village in Thoubal district of Manipur, India. She took up traditional Chinese martial arts Wushu in 2003 under the guidance of Maibam Surbala Devi and later under Moirangthem Ibomcha Meitei.[ citation needed ]

Eikhoishibu Kanano is a 2020 Manipuri film directed by Ajit Yumnam and produced by Brojen Yumnam. It is a movie on Indo-Myanmar border dispute. The film was premiered at the Jaipur International Film Festival 2020. It was also selected for the 8th Delhi International Film Festival 2020 and the India International Film Festival 2020, Pune. Eikhoishibu Kanano won the Best Film at 10th Dada Shaheb Phalke Film Award 2020 and also Best Film - Debut and two other awards at 13th Manipur State Film Awards 2020. It also won nine awards, including Best Film and Best Director at the 9th MANIFA 2020. It got official selection at the 8th Indian Cine Film Festival, 2020.

Pawan Gupta is a sanda fighter from India. He won a bronze medal at the 2012 Asian Wushu Championships held in Hanoi, Vietnam in men's Sanda 65 kg in. He represented India and won a silver medal in the Asian Sanda Championships, held in Singapore. Gupta is currently working with Indian Air Force since 2014.
