Zeta is a modern banking tech company, co-founded by entrepreneurs Bhavin Turakhia and Ramki Gaddipati in 2015. The company offers a full-stack, cloud-native API-ready core banking and transaction processing platform for issuance of credit, debit, and prepaid products that enable legacy banks to launch modern retail and corporate fintech products. History

The company was founded in April 2015 by Bhavin Turakhia [4] and Ramki Gaddipati. [5] Its initial offerings were digitized enterprise solutions for employee tax benefits, automated cafeterias, employee gifting and digital payments. [6] In 2016, Bhavin Turakhia invested around $19 million into Zeta. [7] Initially, Zeta payments was only supported by the MasterCard network but later the company also tied-up with the National Payments Corporation of India's RuPay. [8] In June 2017, the company invested 5-10 crore to buy a minority stake in an HR solutions[ buzzword ] company called ZingHR. [9] [10] Zeta has partnerships with IDFC Bank, [11] Sodexo, [12] Excelity Global, [13] Kotak Mahindra Bank [14] [15] and RBL Bank. [8] Zeta launched the first employee benefits survey in India along with Nielsen Holdings in April 2018. [16] It also bought a minority stake in PeopleStrong in January 2018. [17] In 2019, Zeta received an investment from Sodexo BRS at a valuation of $300 million dollars. [18] In 2020, Zeta launched its technology platform-as-a-service in The Philippines and Vietnam with Sodexo being its first client in these countries.

MobiKwik is an Indian company founded in 2009 that provides a mobile phone based payment system and digital wallet. Customers add money to an online wallet that can be used for payments. In 2013 the Reserve Bank of India authorized the company's use of the MobiKwik wallet, and in May 2016 the company began providing small loans to consumers as part of its service. The company launched its MobiKwik Lite mobile app in November 2016, designed for users of older 2G mobile networks and for those in areas with poor internet connectivity. Airtel Payments Bank Payments Bank

Airtel Payments Bank is a public limited company with its headquarters in New Delhi, India. The company is a subsidiary of Bharti Airtel. It is the first company in India to receive a payments bank license from the Reserve Bank of India and it became the first live payments bank in the country. On April 11, 2016 the Reserve Bank of India issued the license under Section 22 (1) of Banking Regulation Act, 1949 to Airtel Payments Bank. Airtel Payments Bank is a joint venture between Bharti Airtel Ltd. and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.. Kotak Mahindra Bank holds 19.9% stake in the Airtel Payments Bank.

IDFC First Bank

IDFC First Bank is an Indian banking company with headquarters in Mumbai that forms part of IDFC, an integrated infrastructure finance company. The bank started operations on 1 October 2015. IDFC FIRST received a universal banking licence from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in July 2015. On 6 November 2015, IDFC Bank was listed on BSE and NSE.

The Mumbai Fintech Hub is an investment platform, which was started by the Government of Maharashtra in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. It is an initiative by the Government of Maharashtra to promote the fintech ecosystem in the state of Maharashtra.
