The Zimbabwe cricket team are scheduled to tour Bangladesh in April 2024 to play the Bangladesh cricket team. [1] The tour will consist of two Tests and five Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. [2] The T20I matches will form part of Bangladesh's preparation for the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. [3]
The Bangladesh men's national cricket team, popularly known as The Tigers, is administered by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). It is a Full Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) with Test, One-Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) status. It played its first Test match in November 2000 against India with a 9 wicket win in Dhaka, becoming the tenth Test-playing nation. It became an associate member of the ICC in 1977, and competed in six ICC Trophies but performed inconsistently until 1997, which marked the year of their first major victory, winning the 1997 ICC Trophy held in Malaysia. This set Bangladesh on its way of becoming a Test-playing nation, a journey which ended with success in the year 2000.
Mohammad Mahmudullah, also known Silent Killer and Riyad, is a Bangladeshi cricketer and former T20I captain. He has played First-class and List A cricket for Dhaka Division and has represented Bangladesh in all forms of the game. An all-rounder, he is a lower or middle-order batsman as well as an off spin bowler. He has almost 10,000 runs and 150+ wickets. He is prominent for his ability to finish a close limited over game. He is the first Bangladeshi to score a World Cup hundred. Mahmudullah started his career as a bowler and then converted into a batsman who could bowl off-breaks.
Sharfuddoula Ibne Shahid, also known as Sharfuddoula Saikat, is an international cricket umpire and a former first-class player from Bangladesh. He was the first Bangladeshi umpire to officiate in 100 matches in men's international cricket. He was also the first umpire from Bangladesh to be named as a match official for ICC Men's Cricket World Cup in 2023.
Soumya Sarkar is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and a right arm medium-fast bowler who mainly plays as an opening batsman and the creator of the good looking "Periscope Shot". He is the only batsman to hit 2 sixes in the first over in a T20 World Cup match and the second highest individual run-scorer for Bangladesh in an ODI innings. Liton Kumar Das is a Bangladeshi cricketer and the current vice-captain of the Bangladesh national cricket team in all formats. He is a right-handed batter and a wicket-keeper. He made his international debut for Bangladesh in June 2015. He has scored the highest individual score for Bangladesh in ODI cricket (176).

Mehidy Hasan Miraz is a Bangladeshi international cricketer who plays for the Bangladesh national team. A bowling-all-rounder, he is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm off break bowler. On 11 February 2016, he was awarded 'Player of the Tournament' at the ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup 2016, becoming the only Bangladeshi player to achieve this honor in an ICC Event. In November 2018, against the West Indies, he took the best match figures for a Bangladesh bowler in a Test match. In February 2021, he scored his maiden century in Tests against the West Indies. In the same series, he became the fastest bowler for Bangladesh, in terms of matches, to take 100 wickets in Test cricket, doing so in his 24th match. In May 2021, he was the No. 2 ODI bowler in ICC Rankings, becoming the third Bangladeshi bowler ever to hold that position; the other two being Shakib Al Hasan and Abdur Razzak.
Quazi Nurul Hasan Sohan is a Bangladeshi cricketer who represents Bangladesh in international stage in all formats. Sohan is well known in Bangladesh for his keeping skills and great flexibility. Sohan is a wicket-keeper batter and plays as a right-handed batter lower down the order. His main role is a hard-hitting finisher. He was born in Khulna, Bangladesh. In July 2022, he was named as the captain of the Twenty20 International (T20I) team for Bangladesh's tour of Zimbabwe.

The ODI series formed part of the inaugural 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League. It was the first bilateral T20I series between the two teams, and England's first tour of Bangladesh since 2016.
The Australia cricket team toured Bangladesh in August 2021 to play five Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The matches were used as preparation ahead of the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. Cricket Australia planned for the series to take place following their tour of the West Indies. It was the first bilateral T20I series between the two teams, and Australia's first tour of Bangladesh since 2017.
The Sri Lanka cricket team are touring Bangladesh in March and April 2024 to play two Test, three One Day International (ODI) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The Test series will form part of the 2023–2025 ICC World Test Championship. The fixtures for the tour were confirmed in February 2024.
The Bangladesh cricket team are scheduled to tour the United States in May 2024 to play the United States cricket team. The tour will consist of three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The series will be used as preparation ahead of the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. In March 2024, USA Cricket confirmed the fixtures for the tour.
