Mohammed Aziz, also known as Munna, was an Indian multilingual playback singer who primarily sang for the Bollywood, Odia films, Bengali. It also stars Amrish Puri, Shakti Kapoor, and Om Shivpuri in supporting roles. It is about a brother and sister who try to find success and become big singers.
Kasam Paida Karne Wale Ki is a 1984 Indian Hindi-language masala film produced and directed by Babbar Subhash, starring Mithun Chakraborty, Smita Patil, Salma Agha, Karan Razdan, Geeta Siddharth and Amrish Puri. It was remade in Tamil as Mangamma Sabadham (1985).
Dalaal is a 1993 Indian action drama film produced by Prakash Mehra and directed by Partho Ghosh, starring Mithun Chakraborty, Ayesha Jhulka in lead roles; Raj Babbar as the main antagonist. The film fetched good initial box-office collection primarily due to the songs composed by Bappi Lahiri. It was the eighth highest grossing Bollywood film of 1993. The film was simultaneously shot in Bengali with most of the lines shot in Bengali by Chakraborty.
Rehmat Ali is a 2010 Indian Bengali-language film directed by Partho Ghosh for producers Raj Behl and Geeta Behl, starring Mithun Chakraborty, Rituparna Sengupta and Roopa Ganguly. It marked the return of Chakraborty to the Bengali film industry after a long gap. It is a remake of Partho's 1997 Bollywood film Ghulam-E-Mustafa which itself was remade from 1996 Tamil film Musthaffaa.
Adventures of Tarzan is a 1985 Indian Hindi-language film directed by Babbar Subhash, starring Hemant Birje, Dalip Tahil, Kimi Katkar and Om Shivpuri. The film was much talked about in its time, mainly due to the steamy scenes between the lead actors and popular hit songs. After the release of the film the male leading actor Hemant Birje was popularized as the 'Indian Tarzan' by Indian newspapers. On the other hand, the main female protagonist actress Kimi Katkar was tagged as 'Sex-Siren' for her erotic portrayal in the film.
Shandaar (transl. Magnificent) is a 1990 Indian Hindi-language film directed by Vinod Dewan, starring Mithun Chakraborty, Meenakshi Seshadri and Mandakini. The dialogues of this movie became a hit and were applauded by the audience, to the credit of Iqbal Durrani.
Vijay Benedict is an Indian former Bollywood playback singer who provided playback for over 35 Bollywood films in the 1980s and early 1990s.
Ashu Trikha is an Indian film director and producer of Bollywood. He started his career with Arjun Rampal movie Deewaanapan which was produced by Vashu Bhagnani's. Sheesha in 2005, followed by Mithun Chakraborty starrer Zindagi Tere Naam. His next venture Baabarr had Mithun and Om Puri followed by Mithun Chakraborty's home production Enemmy with an ensemble cast of Mithun Chakraborty, Sunil Shetty, Mahakshay Chakraborty, Kay Kay Menon and Zakir Hussain.
Daddy is a 2017 Indian political crime drama film co-written and directed by Ashim Ahluwalia. The film stars Arjun Rampal, who also co-wrote and produced the film, portraying gangster-turned-politician Arun Gawli. It also stars Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead role.
