Telewizja Polska S.A., also known in English as Polish Television, is a public service broadcaster in Poland, founded in 1952. It is the oldest and largest Polish television network.
TVP Polonia is the international channel of the Telewizja Polska (TVP). The channel is co-funded by the TVP and the Polish Ministry for Foreign Affairs and broadcasts from the TVP headquarters in Warsaw.

Poland has entered the Junior Eurovision Song Contest nine times, competing in the first contest in 2003. The Polish broadcaster Telewizja Polska (TVP) decided to withdraw from the contest after coming last in both 2003 and in 2004, despite TVP signing a 3-year contract with the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). In 2016, it was announced that Poland would return after an 11-year break. Poland is the first country in the history of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest to win twice in a row: in 2018 with Roksana Węgiel and her song "Anyone I Want to Be" and then in 2019 with Viki Gabor and her song "Superhero".
MTV Polska is the Polish-language version of the general entertainment channel MTV. It was launched on July 7, 2000, replacing local music channel Atomic TV. The channel is operated by Paramount Networks EMEAA from its headquarters in Warsaw.
Włatcy móch is a Polish adult animated series, which aired on the Polish TV channel TV4 between November 2006 and December 2011. The title is a misspelling of "Władcy much" and derives from William Golding's novel Lord of the Flies. The story revolves around four 8-year-old boys in Grade IIB of the Batalion Zośka Elementary School in Wrocław: Anusiak, Konieczko, Maślana and Czesio. The show has a total of 127 regular and 2 special episodes, and a feature film also exists. The comedy won the 2008 Świry Award in category "TV Series".
Television in Poland was introduced on an experimental basis in 1937. It was state owned, and was interrupted by the Second World War in 1939. Television returned to Poland in 1952 and for several decades was controlled by the communist government. Colour television was introduced in Poland in 1971. Private television stations in Poland appeared around the time of the fall of communism, with PTV Echo becoming the first private station in Poland.
VH1 Poland was a Polish pay television music channel from VIMN Polska. It was launched on December 1, 2005, replacing MTV Classic, another Polish MTV channel which used to broadcast mainly classic videos. VH1 Poland shows almost only music-based programs and plays a much broader range of videos than its predecessor. Many themed music programs were broadcast on a daily or weekly basis.
Polsat Comedy Central Extra is a Polish channel focusing on comedy owned by Paramount Networks EMEAA. It was launched on 29 April 2010 as a programming block on VH1 Poland. On 14 January 2011, VH1 Poland was rebranded as Comedy Central Family.
Warsaw Shore or Warsaw Shore: Ekipa z Warszawy is a Polish reality television series broadcast on MTV. Based in Warsaw, it was first broadcast on 10 November 2013, and is the Polish spin-off of the American show Jersey Shore.
Poland participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with the song "Flashlight" written by Kasia Moś, Pete Baringger and Rickard Bonde Truumeel. The song was performed by Kasia Moś. The Polish broadcaster Telewizja Polska (TVP) organised the national final Krajowe Eliminacje 2017 in order to select the Polish entry for the 2017 contest in Kyiv, Ukraine. The national final took place on 18 February 2017 and featured ten entries. "Flashlight" performed by Kasia Moś was selected as the winner after gaining the most points following the combination of votes from a five-member jury panel and a public vote.
Universal Channel was a Polish pay-tv-channel owned by NBCUniversal. It launched on 1 December 2007 and It was available on the platforms n, Cyfra+, Cyfrowy Polsat and cable networks UPC Polska, Multimedia Polska, Digital Vectra and Toya. After the merger of n and CYFRA+ to Nc+ the channel was removed from the offer of the new platform. On 12 March 2014 it returned to nc+ again.
Comedy Central Romania is the Romanian version of Comedy Central. The channel broadcasts comedy oriented shows. It was launched on 20 September 2016, replacing Comedy Central Extra Adria in the country. Since then it has produced local Romanian content, and became widely popular.
Hoodies Squad is a Polish web animated series created by Bartosz Walaszek and broadcast on his YouTube channel SPInka Film Studio since June 10, 2013, having 250 episodes and 2 specials in total. Since the late 2015, the cartoon is also shown on Comedy Central Poland. Several episodes were also dubbed in Russian as Na Rayonye.
Poland participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy, with "River" performed by Ochman. The Polish broadcaster Telewizja Polska (TVP) first announced in September 2021 that the Polish entry for the 2022 contest would be chosen through an internal selection. However, the broadcaster later decided to organise the national final Tu bije serce Europy! Wybieramy hit na Eurowizję! in order to select the Polish entry. The national final took place on 19 February 2022 and featured ten entries. "River" performed by Ochman was selected as the winner following the combination of votes from a five-member jury panel and a public vote over two rounds of voting.
