Riva is a census-designated place (CDP) in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, United States. The population was 4,257 at the 2020 census. The area is scenic, especially where the two-lane Riva Road crosses the South River on a bridge. The area is growing with large new homes as the suburbs of Annapolis grow outward. Riva is bordered by Annapolis to the north, Edgewater to the east, and Davidsonville to the west.
Gilbert Creek is a census-designated place (CDP) in Mingo County, West Virginia, United States. The population was 1,090 at the 2010 census. The community takes its name from nearby Gilbert Creek.

Aurora is now part of the city of Kenosha, in Kenosha County, Wisconsin, but was the site of one of the area's earliest post offices, opened in the early 1830s at the Willis Tavern, the Aurora community center on the west side of the old Green Bay Trail just north of what is now 60th Street. A Chicago-Milwaukee stagecoach line began operating in 1836 and served Aurora. The post office was finally closed in 1843. No traces of the community exist today.

Cobble Island is an inhabited island located in Lake Chaubunagungamaug in Webster, Massachusetts. The home on the island dates back to before 1922. There is a large rock that sits at the eastern side of the island. The massive boulder is widely recognized among the town's natives and is often considered Webster's greatest fishing spot. On the island's western side there is a small cove that is often inhabited by an LA-4-200 Lake Buccaneer.
