The Evangelical Church in Germany is a federation of twenty Lutheran, Reformed (Calvinist) and United Protestant regional churches and denominations in Germany, which collectively encompasses the vast majority of Protestants in that country. In 2020, the EKD had a membership of 20,236,000 members, or 24.3% of the German population. It constitutes one of the largest national Protestant bodies in the world. Church offices managing the federation are located in Hannover-Herrenhausen, Lower Saxony. Many of its members consider themselves Lutherans.
Lutheran viewpoints concerning homosexuality are diverse because there is no one worldwide body which represents all Lutherans. The Lutheran World Federation, a worldwide 'communion of churches' and the largest global body of Lutherans, contains member churches on both sides of the issue. However, other Lutherans, including the Confessional Evangelical Lutheran Conference and International Lutheran Council, completely reject homosexuality.

The current church building was constructed in 1927 in a Lombard Romanesque style. The church building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

The Big Run Baptist Church and Cemetery, also known as Franklin Township Historical Society, is a historic Baptist church and cemetery located at 6510 South Franklin Road in Franklin Township, Marion County, Indiana. The church was built in 1871 as a Baptist meeting house and served the church congregation until 1977. It is a one-story, gable front brick building with Italianate style design elements. The associated cemetery was established in 1854, with one stone dated to 1841. The most recent burial was in 1986. Also on the property is a contributing privy constructed about 1920. The Franklin Township Historical Society acquired the property and now uses the building as a historical museum.
Poland Presbyterian Church and Cemetery, also known as Poland Historical Chapel and Poland Cemetery, is a historic Presbyterian church and cemetery on IN 42 near Co. Rd. 56S in Cass Township, Clay County, Indiana. It was built in 1869, and is a gable-front, vernacular frame building with Gothic Revival style design elements. It has a high pitched roof and triangular upper sashes. A vestibule and tower were added in 1893. The adjacent cemetery was founded in 1886, and includes nearly 400 headstones.

Richwood Evangelical Lutheran Church, also known as Cross Roads Lutheran Church, is a historic Lutheran church at 9700 West County Road 700 South in the unincorporated town of Cross Roads in Salem Township, Delaware County, Indiana, USA. It was built in 1868, and is a one-story, Gothic Revival style brick building with a bell tower. A rear addition, vestibule, and stained glass windows were added in 1915.

Dubois County Courthouse is a historic courthouse located at Jasper, Dubois County, Indiana. It was designed by the architectural firm Milburn & Heister and built between 1909 and 1911. It is a three-story, Classical Revival style reinforced concrete and masonry building. It features a cupola that rises 100 feet high and pedimented porticos with Ionic order columns. Also on the property is the contributing Soldiers and Sailors Monument erected in 1894.
St. John's Lutheran Church is a historic former Lutheran church located in Harrison Township, Elkhart County, Indiana. It was built in 1852–1853 by Albert Galentine on land owned by John Rarick, Sr., who deeded the land to the "Evangelical Lutheran Church" in 1855. Services at the church ended in 1894 after John Rarick, Jr., the congregation's largest financial supporter, moved to the Elkhart area.

Evangelische Lutherische Dreienigkeit Kirche, also known as the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church Complex, is a historic church building in Grand Island, Nebraska. It was built in 1894-1896 by two German immigrants, Jacob and William Scheffel. Others on the building committee were E. Wiederaenders, F. Pribnow, J. Ruff, J. Schinkel and F. Eggers.. The congregation served pioneers from Germany. The building was designed in the Romanesque Revival architectural style. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since December 1, 1986.

It was built in 1917 "as the culmination of the fund-raising efforts of farmers in rural Seward County." It was designed in the Late Gothic Revival style by George A. Berlinghof and Ellery L. Davis. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since June 25, 1982.
