This is a list of law enforcement agencies in the U.S. state of Georgia.

According to the US Bureau of Justice Statistics' 2008 Census of State and Local Law Enforcement Agencies, the state had 628 law enforcement agencies employing 26,551 sworn police officers, about 274 for each 100,000 residents. [1]

Georgia also hosts the FLETC, which serves as the primary training facility for numerous federal law enforcement agencies.

GCPS is the largest school system in Georgia, with over 140 school buildings and an estimated enrollment of over 182,000 students for the 2023–2024 school year. GCPS is estimated to be the 14th largest school district in the U.S. The district has its headquarters in an unincorporated area near Suwanee.

The Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCMPD) was the primary law enforcement agency for the city of Savannah, Georgia, United States, as well as Chatham County, Georgia. It was founded in 2005 when the Savannah Police Department and the Chatham County Police Department merged.
