Canadian Tire Motorsport Park Motorsport track in Canada

Canadian Tire Motorsport Park is a multi-track motorsport venue located north of Bowmanville, in Ontario, Canada, 64 km (40 mi) east of Toronto. The facility features a 3.957-kilometre (2.459 mi), 10-turn road course; a 2.9-kilometre (1.8 mi) advance driver and race driver training facility with a 0.40-kilometre skid pad and a 1.5-kilometre (0.93 mi) kart track. Formula Atlantic is a specification of open-wheel racing car developed in the 1970s. It was used in professional racing through the IMSA Atlantic Championship until 2009 and is currently primarily used in amateur racing through Sports Car Club of America Formula Atlantic.

Atlantic Motorsport Park (AMP) is an all-purpose motorsports facility located near Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia. The 11-turn road course was opened in August, 1974, and is situated on a 116.56-hectare (1.2 km2) site.

The 1983 Formula Mondial North American Cup season was contested over 9 rounds. In this one-make engine formula all cars had to use Ford BDD engines. 57 different drivers competed in 8 different chassis.

The 2003 Toyota Atlantic Championship season was contested over 12 rounds. In this one-make formula all drivers had to utilize Swift chassis and Toyota engines. 14 different teams and 24 different drivers competed. All drivers were able to score points. The Toyota Atlantic Championship Presented by Yokohama Drivers' Champion was A. J. Allmendinger driving for RuSPORT.

The 2004 Toyota Atlantic Championship season was contested over 12 rounds. 11 different teams and 24 different drivers competed. In this one-make formula all drivers had to utilize Swift chassis and Toyota engines. This season also saw a C2-class running older Swift chassis and Toyota engines. In C2-class five different drivers competed, but none of them for the whole season. The Toyota Atlantic Championship Presented by Yokohama Drivers' Champion was Jon Fogarty driving for Pacific Coast Motorsports.

1977 Formula Atlantic season

The 1977 CASC Formula Atlantic Labatts Championship Series season was contested over 7 rounds. In this one-make engine formula all drivers had to use Ford engines. 39 different drivers competed in 5 different chassis.

The 1996 Toyota Atlantic Championship season was the 23rd season of the formula race car Atlantic Championship. It was contested over 12 races between March 3 and September 7, 1995. The Player's Toyota Atlantic Championship Drivers' Champion was Patrick Carpentier. All teams had to utilize Toyota engines. In C2-class 23 different drivers competed, but none of them for the whole season.

Circuit Trois-Rivières Race track

The Circuit Trois-Rivières is a street circuit in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada. The circuit has been the home of the annual Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières, the longest-running street race in North America, since 1967. The circuit is located on the Terrain de l'Exposition (fairgrounds) and is unusual in that it passes through Porte Duplessis, the narrow concrete gateway of the grounds at turn 3.

Gimli Motorsports Park is a multi-track motorsports facility located in Gimli, Manitoba, Canada. The 95-hectare facility features a 1/4-mile dragstrip, a 1.3-mile road racing course, a one-kilometre karting track and a two-kilometre motocross track. The park hosts events for motorsports groups including the Winnipeg Sports Car Club, Drag Racing Association of Manitoba, Manitoba Roadracing Association (Superbikes), and the Manitoba Karting Association.

Colchester Racing Developments produced Merlyn racing cars from 1960 to 1979. The company was founded by Clive Maskrey, Selwyn Hayward and continued by Hayward's brother, Clive. When the manufacture of Merlyn racing cars stopped, Clive Hayward continued to manufacture Merlyn parts as CRD Tool and Engineering Ltd. This company stopped trading in November 2015, but Clive Hayward continues to run Colchester Racing Developments, manufacturing Merlyn components and carrying out chassis repairs.

The March 76B is an open-wheel formula racing car, designed, developed and built by March Engineering, for Formula Atlantic racing, in 1976. Gilles Villeneuve won the 1976 CASC Formula Atlantic Players Championship Series outright, winning 4 out of the 6 races that season. March cars dominated that season, taking all the race victories, clinching all the pole positions, and scoring all the fastest race laps. The car's chassis design was a monocoque, and was constructed out of aluminum. It was powered by a 1.6 L (98 cu in) Ford-Cosworth BDA four-cylinder engine, which droves the rear wheels through a 5-speed Hewland F.T.-200 manual gearbox. Ian Scheckter also notably won the 1976 South African Formula Atlantic Championship driving this car, scoring 7 race wins that season.
