The 1980 WDF Europe Cup was the 2nd edition of the WDF Europe Cup darts tournament, organised by the World Darts Federation. It was held in Copenhagen, Denmark from October 3 to 4.

Gary James Grant Anderson is a Scottish professional darts player playing in events of the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). Nicknamed "The Flying Scotsman", after a famous Scottish steam train, he is a former BDO and WDF world number one, and a two-time PDC World Champion, having won the title in 2015 and 2016.

The tournament was held for the first time in history at the Gandía Palace Hotel in Gandía, Spain. Medals were distributed in eight disciplines appropriately for each sex. 41 nations participated in this tournament. England won the medal tally.
The 2022 WDF Europe Cup Youth was the 31st edition of the WDF Europe Cup Youth organised by the World Darts Federation. The tournament was held at the Budapesti Honvéd Sportegyesület in Budapest, Hungary. Due to the cancellation of tournaments in 2020–2021 because the COVID-19 pandemic, it was decided to organize an additional tournament for players under 21 years of age. Medals were distributed in twelve disciplines appropriately for each of the sex and cups and also two boys tournaments for every cups.
