The German Open (known for sponsorship reasons as the Bull's German Open) [1] is a darts tournament that began in 1986. It was abandoned for three years before being recurred in 1990 where it has been held annually. All tournaments was held in Germany at various venues. The first winners of the tournament was Bernd Hebecker from Germany and Mia Mevissen from Netherlands.
Tournament was not organized in 2020–2022 due to coronavirus pandemic. It was announced that the tournament in 2023 will not be organized as part of the World Darts Federation and its results will not be included in the international and regional ranking of this organization. The event is organized by Dart Sport Club Bochum.

Jelle Klaasen, nicknamed The Cobra, is a Dutch professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). In 2006, he became the youngest darts player to win the World Darts Championship, aged 21 at the time. He also is a Dutch Open champion.
Martin Adams is an English professional darts player who plays in World Darts Federation (WDF) events. Nicknamed "Wolfie", he is a three-time BDO World Champion and three-time World Masters champion. He represents Cambridgeshire at county darts level and was the captain of England from 1993 to 2013, the longest any player has held that role. From his debut in 1994, Adams made a record 25 consecutive World Championship appearances, before failing to qualify for the first time in 2019. Adams was diagnosed with prostate cancer in April 2016, but by the end of the year he was given the all-clear. As well as playing, he also acted as a regular pundit and commentator for televised coverage of BDO events.
The Ladbrokes UK Open is a ranking major darts tournament held annually at the Butlins Minehead Resort by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) in England. The event is often referred to as the "FA Cup of darts" as it has an unseeded open draw made after each round, and entry is open to players at all levels of darts. One-hundred-and-sixty players compete in the multi-board event over eight-stages before the PDC’s Top 32 enter the tournament in the fourth round. The tournament has a prize fund of £600,000; the victor’s prize is £110,000.
Premier League Darts, known for sponsorship purposes in 2024 as BetMGM Premier League Darts, is a darts tournament which launched on 20 January 2005 on Sky Sports. Now played weekly from February to May, the event originally started as a fortnightly fixture in small venues around the United Kingdom. The tournament originally featured seven players, gradually expanded to ten by 2013, before reduced again from 2022 to eight players from the Professional Darts Corporation circuit competing in a knockout style format, with nights also hosted in Europe at different venues. The top four players in the PDC Order of Merit are joined by four wildcard selections to make up the eight-person field. Alongside the World Championship and the World Matchplay, it is considered part of the sport's Triple Crown.
The PDC World Darts Championship, known for sponsorship purposes as the Paddy Power World Darts Championship, organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC), is a World Professional Darts Championship held annually in the sport of darts. The PDC world championship begins in December and ends in January and is held at Alexandra Palace in London, and has been held there since 2008. It is the most prestigious of the PDC's tournaments, with the winner receiving the Sid Waddell Trophy, named in honour of the darts commentator Sid Waddell, who died in 2012. Along with the Premier League Darts and World Matchplay, it is considered part of the Triple Crown.

John Michael Walton is an English professional darts player currently playing in World Darts Federation (WDF) events. He is best known for winning the 2001 BDO World Darts Championship. He adopted the nickname John Boy and used the song "Cotton Eye Joe" by Rednex as his walk-on theme.

Gary James Grant Anderson is a Scottish professional darts player who plays Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events, where he is currently the World No. 14, having reached a peak of PDC World No. 2 from 2015 to 2016. Nicknamed "The Flying Scotsman", after the famous steam train, he is a former BDO and WDF world number one, and a two-time PDC World Champion, having won the title in 2015 and 2016. He is regarded as one of the best darts players of all time.
John Henderson is a Scottish darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He is the current World Seniors Tour Matchplay, World and Masters champion. Henderson also won the 2021 PDC World Cup of Darts partnering Peter Wright for Scotland.
David Chisnall is an English professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events, where he is currently the World No. 6.
The Dutch Open is amongst the longest running darts tournaments having started back in 1973. The popularity of darts in the Netherlands since Raymond van Barneveld began amassing world titles has seen the number of entries for the tournament rise dramatically. The 2007 event had 2867 entries in the Men's Singles, 1179 in the Men's Pairs, 418 in the Women's Singles and 176 in the Women's Pairs. Although the tournament is classed an "Open" event, only players eligible to for the Winmau World Masters and BDO World Championship are now allowed to enter. This had ruled out PDC players from competing since 2006. Richard Kirby Hit a 9 dart finish in 1990 against Roland Scholten but was not televised.
The Scottish Open is a darts tournament organised by the Scottish Darts Association and has been staged every year in February in 1983 and since 1995. The current venue is the Normandy Cosmopolitan Hotel in Renfrew. In 2014 Robbie Green became the first player to win the tournament on more than one occasion, with the previous 20 tournaments won by 20 different players, Wesley Harms has since achieved this feat. In the Ladies Deta Hedman has won the event 7 times including 2023.

Glen Durrant, nicknamed "Duzza", is an English former professional darts player who played in British Darts Organisation (BDO) and Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events.
The 2016 Coral UK Open was a darts tournament staged by the Professional Darts Corporation. It was the fourteenth year of the tournament where, following numerous regional qualifying heats throughout Britain, players competing in a single elimination tournament to be crowned champion. The tournament was held for the third time at the Butlin's Resort in Minehead, England, between 4–6 March 2016, and has the nickname, "the FA Cup of darts" as a random draw will be staged after each round until the final.
