The World Darts Federation (WDF) is a sport governing body and a tournament organiser for the game of darts. It was formed in 1974 by representatives of the original fourteen founding members. Membership is open to the national organising body for darts in all nations. The WDF encourages the promotion of the sport of darts among and between those bodies, in an effort to gain international recognition for darts as a major sport. The WDF is a full member of Global Association of International Sports Federations, which is the governing body for international sports federations.

The WDF Europe Cup is a darts tournament held biennially since 1978. The tournament consists of a team championship, a pairs championship and a singles championship. All events have a men's competition, and a women's competition.

The Spring Cup was an international darts competition contested by nations from continental Europe which ran from 1986 to 2012. It was run by the European Darts Council and featured singles and team events for men and women.

The Six Nations Cup is an international darts team competition currently organised by the English Darts Organisation (EDO), run under the auspices of the British Darts Organisation (BDO). It is competed for by the national teams of England, the Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

Due to the cancellation of tournaments in 2020–2021 because the COVID-19 pandemic, it was decided to organize an additional tournament for players under 21 years of age. Medals were distributed in twelve disciplines appropriately for each of the sex and cups and also two boys tournaments for every cups.
