2,3,4,5-Tetrachlorophenol (2,3,4,5-TCP) is a chlorinated derivative of phenol with the molecular formula C6H2Cl4O.
Anthracene is a solid polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) of formula C14H10, consisting of three fused benzene rings. It is a component of coal tar. In the course of purifying the hexachlorophene, still bottom wastes were created with concentrated levels of TCP and dioxin.
