Sophia L. Witherspoon is an American former college and professional basketball player who was a guard for seven seasons in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). She played professionally for the New York Liberty, Portland Fire and Los Angeles Sparks of the WNBA.

She has also served time at the NCAA Division I level with Bowling Green, Indiana, Texas Tech, and West Virginia.
