Jan Poortvliet is a Dutch professional football coach and a former player who played as a left-back. His biggest club successes came when he played for PSV Eindhoven in the mid- and late 1970s. After his retirement in the early 1990s, he became a football manager and worked for clubs such as FC Den Bosch, RBC Roosendaal, Stormvogels Telstar, and Southampton.
