The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, known in the West simply as Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), is a Palestinian Islamist organization formed in 1981.

The following is a partial list of civilian casualties in the Second Intifada. In the ten years from 2000-2010, of 6371 Palestinians killed by Israeli forces, at least 2996 did not participate in hostilities when killed, and 1317 were minors. Of 1083 Israelis killed, 741 were civilians.

The Camp 80 junction bus 823 attack was a suicide bombing on November 29, 2001, on an Egged bus in northern Israel. The bus, en route from Nazareth to Tel Aviv, was traveling through the town of Pardes Hanna-Karkur. Three passengers were killed in the attack and nine were injured.

The 2002 Tel Aviv outdoor mall bombing was a terrorist attack which occurred on 25 January 2002 in which a Palestinian suicide bomber blew himself up in Tel Aviv, Israel, injuring at least 24 civilians.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2012 Tel Aviv bus bombing</span> Terror attack in Tel Aviv

The 2012 Tel Aviv bus bombing was a mass-injury terror attack carried out on November 21, 2012, on a crowded passenger bus driving in the center of Tel Aviv's business district. The attack was carried out by an Israeli citizen of Arab descent, who remotely detonated an explosive device, which he had hid on the bus in advance. Twenty-eight civilians were injured in the attack, among them three who were injured seriously. The attack was carried out on the 8th and last day of Operation Pillar of Defense, only a few hours before the ceasefire was reached.

al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades Coalition of Palestinian militant groups

The al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades is a coalition of Palestinian armed groups in the West Bank. The organization has been designated as a terrorist organization by Israel, the European Union, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, and the United States.
