The Sri Lanka national men's cricket team, nicknamed The Lions, represents Sri Lanka in men's international cricket. It is a Full Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) with Test, One-Day International (ODI) and T20 International (T20I) status. The team first played international cricket in 1926–27, and were later awarded Test status in 1981, which made Sri Lanka the eighth Test cricket playing nation. The team is administered by Sri Lanka Cricket.
The India men's national cricket team, also known as Team India and Men in Blue, is governed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), and is a Full Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) with Test, One-Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) status.
Yuvraj Singh is an Indian cricketer who plays internationally in all formats of the game. An all-rounder who bats left-handed in the middle order and bowls slow left-arm orthodox, Yuvraj is the son of former Indian fast bowler and Punjabi actor Yograj Singh. One of the greatest limited over players to play for India, Yuvraj was particularly noted for his aggressive stroke play of the ball and his fielding.

Zimbabwe has been a Full Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 1992. As of 20 March 2020, Zimbabwe is currently ranked eleventh in Tests, eleventh in ODIs and twelfth in Twenty20 Internationals by the ICC.
The Bangladesh men's national cricket team, popularly known as The Tigers, is administered by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). It played its first Test match in November 2000 against India in Dhaka, becoming the tenth Test-playing nation.

Kulasekara Mudiyanselage Dinesh Nuwan Kulasekara is a former Sri Lankan cricketer who played for the Sri Lanka national cricket team in all three formats of the game. He is widely regarded as one of the world's best swing bowlers. Kulasekara was number one in the ODI bowlers rankings on 11 March 2009, and remained in that position until 26 September of that year. He was educated at Bandaranayake College, Gampaha.
Adam Craig Gilchrist is an Australian cricket commentator and former international cricketer and captain of the Australia national cricket team. He was an attacking left-handed batsman and record-breaking wicket-keeper, who redefined the role for the Australia national team through his aggressive batting. Widely regarded as the greatest Wicket-keeper-batsman in the history of the game, Gilchrist held the world record for the most dismissals by a wicket-keeper in One Day International (ODI) cricket until it was surpassed by Kumar Sangakkara in 2015 and the most by an Australian in Test cricket.
The Kenya national cricket team represents the Republic of Kenya in international cricket. Kenya is an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) which has Twenty20 International (T20I) status after the ICC granted T20I status to all of their members.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni, is a former Indian international cricketer who captained the Indian national team in limited-overs formats from 2007 to 2016 and in Test cricket from 2008 to 2014. Under his captaincy, India won the inaugural 2007 ICC World Twenty20, the 2010 and 2016 Asia Cups, the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup and the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy. A right-handed middle-order batsman and wicket-keeper, Dhoni is one of the highest run scorers in One Day Internationals (ODIs) with more than 10,000 runs scored and is considered an effective "finisher" in limited-overs formats. He is also regarded by some as one of the best wicket-keepers and captains in modern limited-overs international cricket.He was also the first wicketkeeper to effect 100 stumpings in ODI cricket.
International cricket in the 2006–07 cricket season is defined by major statisticians, such as CricketArchive and Wisden, as those matches played on tours that started between September 2006 and April 2007. Two major ICC tournaments are scheduled for this season, with the Champions Trophy played in October in India, and the World Cup taking place in West Indies in March. In addition, England will defend the Ashes when they go to Australia in November, and all the ten Test nations will be in action during November and December – though Zimbabwe, who are playing Bangladesh during this time, withdrew from Test matches throughout 2006 and will thus only be playing One-day International matches.
Timothy Grant Southee better known by Tim Southee, is a New Zealand international cricketer who plays all forms of the game. He is a right-arm fast-medium bowler and a hard-hitting lower order batsman. He is also the current vice-captain of the international team. He was one of New Zealand's youngest cricketers, debuting at the age of 19 in February 2008. On his Test debut against England he took 5 wickets and made 77 off 40 balls in the second innings. He plays for Northern Districts in the Plunket Shield, Ford Trophy and Super Smash as well as Northland in the Hawke Cup. He was named as New Zealand's captain for the first T20I against West Indies in place of Kane Williamson, who was rested for that game. The Blackcaps won that match by 47 runs.
Shakib Al Hasan is a Bangladeshi international cricketer who was consistently ICC's no.1 all rounder in all three formats of the game for a decade. He was ranked as the 2nd most valuable player of the century according to Wisden Cricketers' Almanack. He was also ranked as one of the world's most famous athletes by ESPN World Fame 100 in 2019. His aggressive left-handed batting style in the middle order, controlled slow left-arm orthodox bowling, and athletic fielding has helped him win trophies in top leagues across the world.
John Michael "Mickey" Arthur is a South African Australian cricket coach and former cricketer, who played in South African domestic cricket from 1986 to 2001. He was also the coach of the Pakistan Cricket Team from 2016 to 2019. He is the current head coach of the Sri Lanka national cricket team as of December 2019.
Mahmudullah Riyad, often known simply as Mahmudullah, is a Bangladeshi cricketer and the current T20I captain. He has played First-class and List A cricket for Dhaka Division and has represented Bangladesh in all forms of the game. An all-rounder, he is a lower or middle-order batsman as well as an off spin bowler. He is prominent for his ability to finish a close limited over game. He is the first Bangladeshi to score a World Cup hundred.
