The World Figure Skating Championships ("Worlds") is an annual figure skating competition sanctioned by the International Skating Union. Medals are awarded in the categories of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance. Generally held in March, the World Championships are considered the most prestigious of the ISU Figure Skating Championships. With the exception of the Olympic title, a world title is considered to be the highest competitive achievement in figure skating.
Denis Yurievich Ten was a Kazakhstani figure skater. He was the 2014 Olympic bronze medalist, a two-time World medalist, the 2015 Four Continents champion, the 2017 Winter Universiade champion, and a five-time national champion of Kazakhstan.
Peter Liebers is a German former competitive figure skater. He is the 2015 Winter Universiade champion, the 2010 Nebelhorn Trophy bronze medalist, the 2012 Ice Challenge champion, and a six-time German national champion. He placed eighth at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi and as high as sixth at the European Championships.

Medals may be awarded in men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing on the senior, junior, and novice levels, although some events are not held in some years.
Sarah Stefanie Hecken is a German retired figure skater. She is a four-time German national champion and has won twelve senior international medals, including six gold.
