<span class="mw-page-title-main">European Shooting Confederation</span>


The European Shooting Confederation (ESC) is an association of the International Shooting Sport Federation's member federations from Europe, including the Caucasus, Cyprus, Israel, and Turkey. After the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, the ISSF banned Russian and Belarusian athletes and officials from its competitions. In addition, the ESC stripped Russia of its right to host the 2022 European Shooting Championships in the 25m, 50m, 300m, running target and shotgun.

Guy Starik is an Israeli sport shooter who has competed in four Olympics. He has won gold medals in shooting at both the European Championships and at four World Cups, and shares the world record in the 50 meter rifle prone competition.

The European Shooting Championships are the global sport shooting European championships as regards the disciplines of the sport shooting of the rifle and the pistol. Sometimes the competition also includes trap shooting, skeet and running target shooting events, usually organized in special championships.

The 2013 European Shooting Championships were held in Osijek, Croatia from 21 July – 4 August 2013.

Raine J. Peltokoski is a Finnish sport shooter who has won the IPSC European Rifle Championship three times, and the IPSC European Shotgun Championship once (2006). He is sponsored by Lapua ammunition and Armi Dallera Custom rifles. He also has 7 Finnish Rifle Championship gold medals, one silver medal (2007) and one bronze medal (2005).

Peeter Olesk is an Estonian sport shooter. In 2013 he won a gold in the 25m Standard Pistol, at the European Shooting Championships. He has also won the Estonian junior championship in shooting 13 times.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2017 European Shooting Championships</span> International athletics championship event

The 2017 European Shooting Championships was held in Baku, Azerbaijan from 21 July – 4 August 2017. 932 athletes from 43 countries contested 79 sets of medals in 25m, 50m, 300m, rifle and pistol, Shotgun and RT events. Qualification for the 2018 Youth Olympic Games also took place and included 10m events. The Championship was organised by the Azerbaijan Shooting Federation and the Youth and Sports Ministry.

Shooting competitions at the 2019 European Games in Minsk were held between 22 and 28 June 2019.

ESC Planegg-Würmtal, nicknamed the Planegg Penguins, are an ice hockey club in the German Women's Ice Hockey League (DFEL). They are based in Planegg, in the Würmtal near Munich, and, as of the 2022–23 season, play at the Eisstadion Miesbach in Miesbach, which they share with the TEV Miesbach of the men's Eishockey-Bayernliga. ESC Planegg have won the German Championship in women's ice hockey eight times, three more wins than any other team in league history; they have also won seven German Championship silver medals and three bronze medals.
