The 2012–13 Navy Midshipmen men's basketball team represented the United States Naval Academy during the 2012–13 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Midshipmen, led by second year head coach Ed DeChellis, played their home games at Alumni Hall and were members of the Patriot League. They finished the season 8–23, 2–12 in Patriot League play to finish in last place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Patriot League tournament to Bucknell. [1]

Despite having 19 wins, they did not participate in a postseason tournament.

The 2016–17 Bucknell Bison men's basketball team represented Bucknell University during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bison, led by second-year head coach Nathan Davis, played their home games at Sojka Pavilion in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania as members of the Patriot League. They finished the regular season 23–8, 15–3 in Patriot League play to win the regular season championship, their third straight title and sixth in seven years. As the No. 1 seed in the Patriot League tournament, they defeated Army, Navy, and Lehigh to win the tournament championship. As a result, the Bison received the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament as the No. 13 seed in the West region. There they lost in the first round to West Virginia.

They advanced to the championship of the Patriot League women's tournament where they lost to Bucknell. They received an automatic bid to the Women's National Invitation Tournament they defeated George Washington in the first round before losing to Virginia Tech in the second round.

The 2017 Patriot League women's soccer tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Patriot League held from October 31 through November 5, 2017. The quarterfinals of the tournament will be held at campus sites, while the semifinals and final took place at Glenn Warner Soccer Facility in Annapolis, Maryland. The six-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The defending champions were the Bucknell Bison and they successfully defended their title, defeating the Navy Midshipmen in the conference final. The conference championship was the fourth for the Bucknell women's soccer program and the second for head coach Kelly Cook.

They finished the season 12–19 overall, 8–10 in Patriot League play, to finish in a tie for fifth place. As the No. 5 seed in the Patriot League tournament, they advanced to the semifinals, where they were defeated by eventual tournament champion Colgate.

The 1997 Patriot League men's basketball tournament was played at Stabler Arena in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and Alumni Hall in Annapolis, Maryland, after the conclusion of the 1996–97 regular season. Top seed Navy defeated #2 seed Bucknell, 76–75 in the championship game, to win its second Patriot League Tournament title. The Midshipmen earned an automatic bid to the 1997 NCAA tournament as #15 seed in the West region.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Hassan Booker</span> American basketball player and coach

Hassan Mustafa Booker is an American former college basketball player and coach best known for his playing career at the United States Naval Academy (Navy) from 1994 to 1998. He was a key performer during a four-year stretch that saw the Midshipmen win three Patriot League regular season titles, two Patriot League tournament titles, and make back-to-back NCAA tournament appearances in 1997 and 1998. Booker was a two-time first-team All-Patriot League selection in his junior and senior seasons. As a junior, he was named the Patriot League Tournament MVP after averaging 17.5 points and 11 rebounds in wins over Lafayette and Bucknell. At the conclusion of the 1997–98 season, Booker was named the winner of the Chip Hilton Player of the Year Award, a national award given by the NCAA to a Division I player who demonstrated outstanding character, leadership, integrity, humility, sportsmanship, and talent.

Greg Sprink is an American former basketball player known for his collegiate career at the United States Naval Academy (Navy) between 2004 and 2008, where he was the 2008 Patriot League Player of the Year as well as an honorable mention All-American. He never played professionally, serving required duty instead in the U.S. Navy. As of 2017 he works for a construction material wholesaler in the Houston, Texas area.
