The 2011 FINA Women's Water Polo World League was the tenth edition of the event, organised by the world's governing body in aquatics, the FINA. After playing in groups within the same continent, eight teams qualify to play in a final tournament, called the Super Final in Beijing, China from June 1 to June 6, 2013. [1]

The two teams that reach the final of the Super Final will be the first teams to quality for the water polo tournament of the 2013 World Aquatics Championships in Barcelona.

After playing in groups within the same continent, eight teams qualify to play in a final tournament, called the Super Final in Changshu, China from 29 May - 3 June 2012. The two teams that reach the final of the Super Final will be the first teams to quality for the water polo tournament of the 2013 World Aquatics Championships in Barcelona.

The tournament was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In August 2020, it was announced that it would be played in from January to June 2021.

The 2023 Men's FINA Water Polo World Cup will be the 17th edition of the tournament. It will run from 8 March to 2 July 2023. The Super final will take place between 30 June and 2 July 2023 in Los Angeles, United States.

The 2023 FINA Women's Water Polo World Cup is the 18th edition of the tournament. It runs from 11 April to 25 June 2023. The Super final will take place between 23 and 25 June 2023 in Long Beach, United States.
