Iván Alejandro García Navarro is a Mexican diver. He is nicknamed "Pollo" ("Chicken"). He competes in diving and represented Mexico at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. He won a silver medal in the 10m Synchronized Platform with his partner Germán Sánchez with a high score of 468.90. In the individual 10m Platform, García came the 7th with a score of 521.65.

The 2014 FINA High Diving World Cup was held in Kazan, Russia, from 8 August to 10 August 2014. It was the first edition of the FINA High Diving World Cup competition. The event consisted of a men's competition from the 27m platform and a women's competition from the 20m platform.

It was to be the 22nd edition of the biennial diving competition, and the first time this specific FINA event was to be held in Tokyo and Japan. The venue was to be the Tokyo Aquatics Centre, and the final qualifying diving event for the 2020 Summer Olympics.
