The PSA World Tour 2014 is the international squash tour organised circuit organized by the Professional Squash Association (PSA) for the 2014 squash season. The most important tournament in the series is the World Championship held in Doha in Qatar. The tour features three categories of regular events, World Series, which feature the highest prize money and the best fields, International and Challenger. [1]

Following is a list of notable players (winners of a main tour title, and/or part of the PSA World Rankings top 30 for at least one month) who announced their retirement from professional squash, became inactive, or were permanently banned from playing, during the 2014 season:
 Karim Darwish  (born 29 August 1981 in the Cairo, Egypt) joined the pro tour in 1999, reached the world no. 1 ranking in January 2009. Keeping the spot for eleven month in 2009. He reached the final of the World Open in 2008, lost against Ramy Ashour. The Egyptian also won two Qatar Classic titles in 2008 and 2010, one Sky Open title in 2009, one El Gouna International title in 2010 and the Saudi International in 2008. Amr Shabana is a former professional squash player from Egypt. He won the World Open in 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2009, and reached the World No. 1 ranking in 2006.
Ong Beng Hee is a Malaysian former professional squash player and coach. Between 2000 and 2006, he won four consecutive Asian Championship titles. In 2002 and 2006 he won gold medals at the Asian Games. He won 11 Professional Squash Association (PSA) Tour titles out of 19 final appearances, and earned a world ranking of No. 7, a career-best. This record of achievements has made him Malaysia's most successful male squash player in history.

Ramy Mohamed Ashour, known as Ramy Ashour, is a retired professional squash player from Egypt. He was one of the world's best squash players in the late 2000s and early 2010s, having won three World titles in 2008, 2012 and 2014. He became the youngest player to reach number one in the world since the 1980s, as well as being the first ever two time World Junior Squash Champion.

Grégory Gaultier is a former professional squash player from France. He has won the 2015 World Open Squash Championship, the British Open three times, in 2007, 2014 and 2017, the Qatar Classic in 2011, the US Open twice, in 2006 and 2013, the Tournament of Champions in 2009, and the PSA World Series Finals thrice, in 2008, 2009 and 2016. He reached the final of the World Open in 2006, 2007, 2011 and 2013, and the World No. 1 ranking in 2009. Gaultier is affectionately known to his friends as The General.

Karim Darwish is an Egyptian squash player.

Wael Hatem El-Hendy is a professional squash player who represented Egypt. A Professional Squash Association (PSA) member since 1999, Wael El Hindi has long been regarded as one of Egypt's most talented players – first making his mark in the USA in 1998 when he reached the final of the World Junior Championship as a 5/8 seed. Steady progress on the Tour saw the 28-year-old from Giza – who currently divides his time between Egypt and England – reaching a career high ranking of World No. 8 in November 2008.

Mohamed ElShorbagy is an Egyptian-English professional squash player. He represented Egypt from a young age until June 2022, when he switched to represent England. He reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 1 in November 2014, March 2018, February 2020, and again in July 2021 and was the 2017 World Squash champion.
Omar Mosaad Abouzid is a professional squash player who represents Egypt. He reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 3 in 2016.

Karim Abdel Gawad is a professional squash player who has represented Egypt. He is a former world champion and world number 1.
Hisham Mohamed Ashour is a professional squash player who represents Egypt. He is the older brother of Ramy Ashour. He reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 11 in February 2012.
