The 2015 Serbia men's EuroBasket team represented Serbia and took the fourth place at the EuroBasket 2015, held in four different countries (Croatia, France, Germany, and Latvia). They were qualified for the EuroBasket by taking the 4th place at the EuroBasket 2013. The team was coached by Aleksandar Đorđević, with assistant coaches Miroslav Nikolić, Milan Minić, Jovica Antonić, and Goran Bjedov.

Dejan Tomašević is a Serbian professional basketball executive, former player and politician serving as a member of the National Assembly since 6 February 2024. He is a member of the ruling populist Serbian Progressive Party (SNS).
Milan Mačvan is a Serbian politician and former professional basketball player serving as the deputy mayor of Šabac since 19 January 2024. Standing at 2.06 m, he played at the power forward position. He also represented the Serbian national basketball team internationally. He was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the 54th overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft.
Branko Lazić is a Serbian professional basketball player and the team captain for Crvena zvezda of the Serbian KLS, the ABA League and the EuroLeague. He has also represented the senior Serbian national basketball team internationally. He has won a record seven ABA League titles.
Ognjen Kuzmić is a Serbian professional basketball player for KK FMP of the Adriatic League. He has also represented the senior Serbian national team in international competition. Standing at 2.13 m, he plays at the center position. He was selected with the 52nd overall pick in the 2012 NBA draft by the Golden State Warriors and won the 2015 NBA Championship with the same team.
Ilija Đoković is a Serbian professional basketball player for Budapesti Honved SE of the Hungarian Nemzeti Bajnoksak I/A.
The 2017 Serbia EuroBasket team represented Serbia and won the silver medal at the EuroBasket 2017 in Helsinki (Finland), Tel Aviv (Israel), Cluj-Napoca (Romania) and Istanbul (Turkey). They were automatically qualified for the EuroBasket by taking the 4th place in EuroBasket 2015. Goran Topić is a Serbian professional basketball coach and scout, who is an assistant coach of FMP of the ABA League and the Basketball League of Serbia.

KK Crvena zvezda is a men's professional basketball club based in Belgrade, Serbia, which has youth system teams, cadets (under-16) and juniors. The U18 and U19 teams play in the RODA Junior Basketball League of Serbia and the Junior Adriatic League. They have won a Euroleague Basketball Next Generation Tournament. The U16 team plays in the Triglav Cadet Basketball League of Serbia.
Miloš Glišić is a Bosnia-born Serbian professional basketball player for Borac Čačak of the Basketball League of Serbia and the ABA League.
The 2016 Serbia OQT basketball team represented Serbia and won the spot for the 2016 Summer Olympics at the FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournament in their capital, Belgrade. They were qualified for the Qualification tournament by taking the 4th place in the EuroBasket 2015. The team was coached by Aleksandar Đorđević, with assistant coaches Miroslav Nikolić, Milan Minić and Jovica Antonić.
The 2019 Serbia FIBA Basketball World Cup team represented Serbia at the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup in China. Serbia finished the tournament in fifth place with a 6–2 record and qualified for the Olympic Qualifying Tournament.

The 2020 Serbia men's OQT basketball team represented Serbia at the 2020 FIBA Men's Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Belgrade, Serbia in June and July 2021. The team coached by Igor Kokoškov and led by team captain Miloš Teodosić failed to qualify for the 2020 Summer Olympics.

The 2022–23 Admiral Bet Basketball League of Serbia is the 17th season of the Basketball League of Serbia, the top-tier professional basketball league in Serbia. Also, it is the 78th national championship played by Serbian clubs inclusive of the nation's previous incarnations as Yugoslavia and Serbia & Montenegro.
The 2022 Serbia EuroBasket team represented Serbia at the EuroBasket 2022 in the Czech Republic, Georgia, Italy, and Germany. Serbia finished at the 9th place with a 5–1 record, following a lost to Italy in a Round of 16 game.
The men's national basketball team of Serbia competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France, where they earned a bronze medal. They qualified for the Olympics as one of the top two FIBA Basketball World Cup finishers from Europe in 2023. Serbia last competed in the 2016 Summer Olympics, securing a silver medal.
