The Spikers' Turf 2nd Season was the second season of the men's volleyball league Spikers' Turf, the counterpart of the women's Shakey's V-League. In 2014, the Shakey's V-League introduced a men's division during its 21st conference. [1] The following year, Sports Vision, the organizers of the Shakey's V-League decided to spin-off the men's vision as a separate tournament, giving birth to the Spikers' Turf.
The Spikers’ Turf Collegiate Conference was the 5th conference of the Spikers' Turf, conference commenced on May 28, 2016 at the Filoil Flying V Centre, San Juan. [2] Six (6) volleyball clubs will compete in this year's Open Conference.

On November 20, 2016, Sports Vision launched an all-star game for both Spikers' Turf and Shakey's V-League. For the men's league, it will feature 2 teams (Team Hataw and Team Galaw) that will compose of notable players from various club or collegiate teams.

The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) is a women's professional volleyball league in the Philippines organized by Sports Vision Management Group, Inc. The league began in 2004 as the Shakey's V-League, a women's collegiate league. Since 2011, the league became open to participation of corporate clubs and other non-collegiate teams.
The PLDT Home Fibr Hitters is a professional men's volleyball team owned by PLDT. It was established in 2013 and originally consisted of men's and women's teams. In 2018, the women's team became merged with the Smart Giga Hitters. The men's team has been playing in the Spikers' Turf since October 2018.

The conference was started on July 30, 2016 at the Ynares Sports Arena with the first two games of the conference. Majority of the games will be held at the Philsports Arena, Pasig.

Marck Jesus Paguirigan Espejo is a Filipino volleyball athlete currently playing for FC Tokyo, his second stint in V.League. He is a member of the Philippines men's national volleyball team and played collegiate volleyball with Ateneo de Manila University.
The 2018 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference was the fourth conference of the Premier Volleyball League. Conference will start on April 27, 2018 with a Grand Fans Day at the Trinoma Activity Center, Quezon City, 9 days before its opening ceremonies and games on May 6, 2018 at the Filoil Flying V Centre, San Juan City, Philippines. PLDT returns as PayMaya after two years of absence in the league and newcomer teams, Tacloban Fighting Warays and Petro Gazz Angels are expected to join the league.
Teams will play a single round robin in the preliminary round. The top two teams after the preliminary round will automatically enter the semifinals round. The bottom teams after the preliminary round will play a single round robin to determine the two teams that will advance to the semifinals round.

Philippine Army returned as Pacific Town-Army Lady Troopers and Motolite Power Builders returned with a new set of players.
The 2019 Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference was the ninth conference of the Premier Volleyball League. The conference started on August 17, 2019 and ended on October 12, 2019 at the Filoil Flying V Centre, San Juan, Metro Manila, Philippines. Defending champions University of the Philippines skipped this conference, while reigning University Athletic Association of the Philippines champion Ateneo de Manila University returned after sitting out the 2018 collegiate conference.
The 2019 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference is the eight conference of the Premier Volleyball League. The conference started on August 11, 2019 and ended on November 9, 2019 at the Filoil Flying V Centre, San Juan, Metro Manila, Philippines. Philippine Air Force Women's Volleyball Team returned in action and two new teams joined the conference named Chef's Classics Lady Red Spikers and Choco Mucho Flying Titans.
