The 2019 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) season was the third season of the Premier Volleyball League that started on May 26, 2019 at the Filoil Flying V Center in San Juan. [1]

Alyssa Valdez and Myla Pablo headed the two teams, blue and red, respectively. The all-star game was staged to generate funds for the benefit of the Help Educate and Rear Orphans (Hero) Foundation. [1]

Reinforced conference

The 2019 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference was the seventh conference of the Premier Volleyball League (34th conference of the former Shakey's V-League ). Conference started on May 26, 2019. Grand Fans Day was held at the Trinoma Activity Center, Quezon City on April 25, 2019. [3] Games were held at the Filoil Flying V Centre , San Juan , Philippines . Philippine Army returned as Pacific Town-Army Lady Troopers [4] and Motolite Power Builders returned with a new set of players. [5]

Venues

Open conference

The 2019 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference was the eighth conference of the Premier Volleyball League. The conference started on August 11, 2019 and ended on November 9, 2019 at the Filoil Flying V Centre, San Juan, Metro Manila, Philippines. [16] Philippine Air Force Women's Volleyball Team returned in action [17] and two new teams joined the conference named Chef's Classics Lady Red Spikers and Choco Mucho Flying Titans (second team of Rebisco). [18]

Teams will play a double-round robin elimination round to determine the final four teams that will advance to the semifinals. [19]

The 2019 Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference was the ninth conference of the Premier Volleyball League . The conference started on August 17, 2019, and ended on October 12, 2019, at the Filoil Flying V Centre , San Juan , Metro Manila , Philippines . [25] Defending champions University of the Philippines skipped this conference, while reigning University Athletic Association of the Philippines champion Ateneo de Manila University returned after sitting out the 2018 collegiate conference. [25]

Jessica Margarett "Jema" Casidsid Galanza is a Filipino volleyball player and former captain of the Adamson Soaring Lady Falcons volleyball team in the UAAP and a National Team Member. She also played for the Laoag Power Smashers during the 2016 SVL Reinforced Conference and has become one of the top spikers for the Creamline Cool Smashers since 2017 in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL).

Aurea Francesca "Cesca" Racraquin is a Filipino volleyball player of the collegiate varsity volleyball team of San Beda College that plays in the NCAA. Cesca played for the Creamline Cool Smashers in the Premier Volleyball League that debuted during the 2017 PVL Reinforced Conference.

The following is a list of award recipients of Premier Volleyball League, a women's professional volleyball league in the Philippines founded in 2004.

Diana Mae "Tots" Carlos is a Filipino volleyball player who currently plays for the Creamline Cool Smashers. She was playing with UP Lady Fighting Maroons of the University of the Philippines-Diliman, and a member of both the indoor and beach volleyball collegiate varsity teams of the university. She bagged the back-to-back Most Valuable Player and Best Opposite Spiker in the 2022 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference and 2022 Premier Volleyball League Invitational Conference. She is also part of the Philippines women's national volleyball team that competes in the 2022 Asian Women's Volleyball Cup.

The 2018 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference was the fourth conference of the Premier Volleyball League. Conference will start on April 27, 2018 with a Grand Fans Day at the Trinoma Activity Center, Quezon City, 9 days before its opening ceremonies and games on May 6, 2018 at the Filoil Flying V Centre, San Juan City, Philippines. PLDT returns as PayMaya after two years of absence in the league and newcomer teams, Tacloban Fighting Warays and Petro Gazz Angels are expected to join the league.
Teams will play a single round robin in the preliminary round. The top two teams after the preliminary round will automatically enter the semifinals round. The bottom teams after the preliminary round will play a single round robin to determine the two teams that will advance to the semifinals round.

Pauline Marie Monique Mandanas Gaston is a Filipino volleyball athlete. She played with Ateneo Lady Eagles collegiate women's University team. She currently plays for the Chery Tiggo Crossovers in the Premier Volleyball League.
