The 2017 FIBA U18 European Championship Division B was the 13th edition of the Division B of the FIBA U18 European basketball championship. It was played in Tallinn, Estonia, from 28 July to 6 August 2017. [1] 24 teams participated in the competition. Croatia men's national under-18 basketball team won the tournament.

The FIBA U18 European Championship, originally known as the European Championship for Juniors, is a youth men's basketball competition that was inaugurated with the 1964 edition. It was held biennially through the 2002 edition. From the 2004 edition onward, it has been held every year. It serves as the qualification tournament for the FIBA Under-19 World Cup, for the FIBA Europe region. The current champions are Serbia.
The 2016 FIBA U16 European Championship was the 30th edition of the European Under-16 Basketball Championship. Sixteen teams participated in the competition, held in Radom, Poland, from 12 to 20 August 2016. Bosnia and Herzegovina, the defending champions, were relegated to the 2017 Division B.
