The 2019 PFF National Challenge Cup was the 28th edition of domestic association football cup competition in Pakistan. 15 teams participated in the competition, commencing from 19 July and concluding on 4 August 2019. The competition was held in Peshawar, with Tehmas Khan Football Stadium and Qayyum Football Stadium hosting all the matches. [2]

The Qayyum Stadium, also known as Peshawar Sport Complex, is located in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan. It is the biggest sports complex not just in Peshawar but in all of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The sport complex has facilities for all major sports including football, field hockey, squash, wrestling and badminton. The sport complex is owned by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It can accommodate 30,000 spectators and is located within walking distance of Peshawar Saddar and Peshawar Cantonment railway station.
The Geo Super Football League or SFL was the first professional inter-city football league of Pakistan, with support of the Pakistan Football Federation. It was established in 2007 and telecasted live via GEO Super. The SFL ran separate to the Pakistan Premier League. The league did not continue because the organisers and sponsors reportedly did not want to work with the Pakistan Football Federation again.

The cup featured 27 departmental teams across the country vying for the title, which was defended by 2020 champions WAPDA.
