The 2012 National Football Challenge Cup was the 22nd edition of National Football Challenge Cup , the domestic cup competition in Pakistani football. The edition was sponsored by Karachi Port Trust, therefore, it was also known as the 2012 KPT Challenge Cup.

Contents

The tournament was held in Karachi, with KPT Stadium and People's Football Stadium having two matches played simultaneously.

Khan Research Laboratories were the defending champions, having won their third title the previous year after defeating National Bank 1–0 in the finals.

Khan Research Laboratories won the title after defeating Karachi Electric Supply Corporation 3–1 on penalties the after game ended 0–0 after extra-time.

The match was abandoned, when Pakistan Police players slapped the referee for awarding penalty to Khan Research Laboratories on 16th minute. Pakistan Football Federation awarded forfeit to Khan Research Laboratories and suspended and fined 6 Pakistan Police players with Rs. 20,000 each.

The 2017 NBP President's Cup was the first edition of NBP President's Cup. The tournament was sponsored by National Bank of Pakistan in 2017, as there was no footballing activity in Pakistan since 2016 PFF Cup. The tournament commenced on 17 January and concluded on 26 January.

The 2018 National Challenge Cup final was a football match between Pakistan Air Force and WAPDA played on 10 May 2018 at KPT Football Stadium in Karachi. Pakistan Air Force won their second National Challenge Cup title after having won the first in 2014.

The 2013 PFF League(PFFL) was the 10th season of second tier of Pakistan Football Federation. The season started on 29 November 2013 and concluded on 28 December 2013. The event took place in Lahore, Layyah and Karachi.

2021–22 Pakistan Premier League was to be the 62nd season of Pakistani domestic football and the 13th season of the Pakistan Premier League. Each team was scheduled to play play each other twice for a total of 22 games. The league was not recognised by FIFA, as it was organized by the then PFF President, Ashfaq Hussain Shah, who came to power after attacking and taking charge of the PFF office. The tournament was suspended after a few months into the season and then cancelled.

The 2020 PFF National Challenge Cup was the 29th edition of domestic association football cup competition in Pakistan. 28 teams participated in the competition, commencing from 30 November and concluding on 20 December 2020. The competition was held in Lahore, with Punjab Stadium and Fame FC Ground hosting all the matches.

The 2023–2024 PFF National Challenge Cup was the 30th edition of domestic cup competition in Pakistan. 27 departmental teams participated in the competition, from 24 January 2023 until 12 May 2024. The cup featured 27 departmental teams across the country vying for the title, which was defended by 2020 champions WAPDA.
