Tunisia have participated in the Africa Cup of Nations 21 times, and hold the record for the highest number of consecutive participations, with sixteen between 1994 and 2023. Tunisia's first AFCON appearance was in 1962, where they took third place by defeating Uganda 3–0; only four countries participated in this edition.
