2021 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations squads

The 2021 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations is an international association football tournament held in Mauritania. The twelve national teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of 31 players; only players in these squads are eligible to take part in the tournament. Each player had to have been born after 1 January 2001. All ages as of start of the tournament. The squads for the 2021 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations were announced on 15 February 2021. [1]

The 2021 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations was the 16th edition of the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, the biennial international youth football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for players aged 20 and below. In September 2018, it was decided that the tournament would be hosted by Mauritania. This will be the first edition in Africa U-20 Cup of Nations to have expanded to 12 teams instead of eight. The top four teams of the tournament would have normally qualified for the 2021 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Indonesia as the CAF representatives. However, FIFA decided to cancel the tournament on 24 December 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2019 Africa Cup of Nations was an international football tournament that was held in Egypt from 21 June to 19 July 2019. The 24 national teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of 23 players, including three goalkeepers. Only players in these squads were eligible to take part in the tournament.

The following is a list of squads for each national team competing at the 2019 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations. The tournament took place in Egypt, between 8–22 November 2019. It was the third U-23 age group competition organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

The 2021 Africa Cup of Nations was an international football tournament that was held in Cameroon from 9 January to 6 February 2022. The 24 national teams involved in the tournament were allowed to register a squad of up to 28 players, including a minimum of three goalkeepers, to allow teams to deal with any COVID-19 cases. Only players in these squads were eligible to take part in the tournament.

Only players in these squads were eligible to take part in the tournament. Unlike the Africa Cup of Nations, this tournament exclusively requires players to be registered to a club within their country to be eligible. Expatriate players, even if they play in Africa, cannot participate in the event.

The 2021 Africa Beach Soccer Cup of Nations was the fourth edition of the Africa Beach Soccer Cup of Nations (BSAFCON), the premier beach soccer championship in Africa contested by men's national teams who are members of the Confederation of African Football (CAF). Originally organised by Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW) under the title FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup CAF qualifier, in 2015, CAF became organisers and began using the BSAFCON title to which the competition was officially renamed the next year. Each player had to have been born after 1 January 2003. All ages as of the start of the tournament. The squads for the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations were announced on 14 February 2023.
