Campaign

Leni Robredo (Liberal)

The province of Abra was highly expected to vote for UniTeam due to being a part of the Solid North voting bloc and high support for the Marcos family. Robredo said it was hard to campaign in pro Marcos provinces like Abra, she was shocked to see that there are people campaigning for her and called them brave. [3] 45 voting precincts in the province gave zero votes to Robredo. [4]

Panfilo Lacson (Independent)

Senator Panfilo Lacson also had lunch with the Bersamin family, one of the province's political dynasties after saying he will no longer hold campaign in the Ilocos provinces. [5]
