The 2023 NPL NSW Men's is the eleventh season of soccer in New South Wales under the banner of the National Premier Leagues and the first season under the revised competition format. The season began on 3 February 2023 and is scheduled to conclude on 27 August.

Festival of Football

The third edition of the Festival of Football was played on 23 April, featuring Inner West rivals and former NSL clubs APIA Leichhardt and Sydney Olympic with their playing against each other. [26] This featured youth, women's and men's matches. Additionally, a legends match was also included, which featured former players such as Ernie Campbell, Marshall Soper, Jean-Paul de Marigny, Milan Blagojevic, John Buonavoglia, Nick Rizzo, Mark Byrnes, Robert Younis, Peter Katholos, Pablo Cardozo, Robbie Hooker, Zlatko Nastevski and Paul Henderson. [27]

The feature match was the Men's NPL match, part of Round 12 of the National Premier Leagues NSW. [28] Coming into the match APIA had won all eleven previous league matches.

Sydney Football Club Youth is the youth system of Sydney Football Club based in Moore Park, Sydney, Australia. The team referred to as Sydney Youth play in the Y-League and consists of u23 players, the highest level of youth soccer in Australia. The 2024 National Premier Leagues NSW is the 12th season of the National Premier Leagues in New South Wales and the second season under the revised competition format. The season began on 16 February 2024 and is scheduled to conclude on 25 August. APIA Leichhardt are the defending champions.

The 2024 Sydney United 58 Football Club season is the club's 66th season in existence and 20th consecutive season in National Premier Leagues NSW. In addition to the domestic league, Sydney United participated in this season's edition of the Australia Cup, entering through the preliminary rounds. The season covers the period from 1 January 2024 until 31 December 2024.

The 2023 Waratah Cup was the 21st season of the Football NSW's knockout competition. The four winners from the Australia Cup preliminary seventh round qualified for the Waratah Cup. NWS Spirit were the defending champions but were eliminated by the eventual winners Sydney United 58 in the seventh round. Sydney United won the cup, their seventh in history, against APIA Leichhardt in extra time.

The 2024 Waratah Cup was the 22nd season of the Football NSW's knockout competition. The four winners from the Australia Cup preliminary seventh round qualified for the Waratah Cup. Sydney United 58 were the defending champions but were eliminated by NWS Spirit in the seventh round. APIA Leichhardt won 3–0 in the final against Rockdale Ilinden to claim their sixth cup title at Jubilee Stadium. Michael Kouta, who scored the opening goal for APIA, was named player of the match.
