The 2023 Rome ePrix, known for sponsorship reasons as the 2023 Hankook Rome E-Prix was a pair of Formula E electric car race held at the Circuito Cittadino dell'EUR in the EUR neighbourhood of Rome, Italy on the 15 and 16 July 2023. They served as the 13th and 14th rounds of the 2022-23 Formula E season and the fifth running of the Rome ePrix.
The first race was won by Mitch Evans for Jaguar Racing, who also took pole position and the fastest lap. Nick Cassidy and Maximilian Günther completed the podium. [1] The second race was won from pole by Jake Dennis for Andretti, with Norman Nato and Sam Bird in second and third. [2]
Jake Dennis entered the Rome ePrix in the lead of the championship, just one point ahead of Nick Cassidy. Pascal Wehrlein was third in the standings, 16 points behind Dennis. [3]

Sam Jamie Bird is a British professional racing driver, currently set to drive for NEOM McLaren in Formula E. He won the LMP2 title at the 2015 FIA World Endurance Championship, and was runner-up at the 2013 GP2 Series and the LMGTE Pro class at the 2016 FIA World Endurance Championship. Bird has also claimed 11 wins in Formula E, with a best season result of third in 2017–18.
Sébastien Olivier Buemi is a Swiss professional racing driver, who competes in the FIA Formula E Championship for Envision Racing. He competed for Scuderia Toro Rosso in Formula One from 2009 to 2011. After leaving Formula One, Buemi became a reserve driver for Scuderia Toro Rosso's sister team, Red Bull Racing from 2012 to 2013. He returned to Red Bull Racing in 2019 as a reserve driver.
Robin Christiaan Maria Frijns is a Dutch motor racing driver. He is the 2012 Formula Renault 3.5 Series champion, and the first driver to have won the series in his debut season since Robert Kubica in 2005. Frijns is currently competing in Formula E driving for Envision Racing and in the FIA World Endurance Championship for Team WRT. Frijns achieved his first Formula E podium finish in his second outing in the category, and claimed his maiden victory at the 2019 Paris E-Prix. In 2021 Frijns won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the LMP2 class driving for Team WRT, alongside Ferdinand von Habsburg and Charles Milesi.
Carlos Sainz Vázquez de Castro, otherwise known as Carlos Sainz Jr. or simply Carlos Sainz, is a Spanish racing driver currently competing in Formula One for Scuderia Ferrari. He is the son of Carlos Sainz Sr., a double World Rally Champion.
Mitchell William Evans is a New Zealand professional racing driver. He currently drives for the Jaguar TCS Racing team in Formula E. In 2012, he won the GP3 Series and he raced in the GP2 Series for four years, achieving 14th place in 2013, fourth in 2014, fifth in 2015, and 12th in 2016.
Hendrik Johannes Nicasius "Nyck" de Vries is a Dutch racing driver who most recently competed in Formula One for Scuderia AlphaTauri. He won the 2020–21 Formula E World Championship and the 2019 FIA Formula 2 Championship as well as the 2010 and 2011 Karting World Championships. He was signed to the McLaren Young Driver Programme from January 2010 until May 2019. De Vries made his Formula One debut in September 2022 as a substitute for Williams at the 2022 Italian Grand Prix. He joined Scuderia AlphaTauri for the 2023 season but was released after the 2023 British Grand Prix – the 10th race of that 22-race season.
Jake Dennis is a British racing driver who lives in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. He currently competes in the Formula E with Avalanche Andretti Formula E. He also currently serves as a development driver for the Red Bull Racing Formula One team and is a BMW Factory driver. He is the 2022–23 Formula E world champion.
Norman Nato is a French professional racing driver who is currently driving in Formula E for Nissan. Nato is known for finishing as the runner-up in the 2010 F4 Eurocup 1.6 season and the 2012 Formula Renault 2.0 Alps season, and for winning both in Monaco and Hungary in the 2014 Formula Renault 3.5 Series season.
Maximilian Günther is a German-Austrian racing driver currently competing in Formula E for Maserati MSG Racing. Günther has previously driven in Formula 2 with Arden and for Dragon Racing, BMW i Andretti and Nissan e.dams in Formula E. He achieved his first win in Formula E at the 2020 Santiago ePrix.
Zhou Guanyu is a Chinese racing driver who currently competes in Formula One for Alfa Romeo. He is the first, and so far, the only Chinese driver to compete in Formula One. He competed in the FIA Formula 2 Championship for UNI-Virtuosi Racing from 2019 to 2021, having finished 3rd in the 2021 campaign.
Jake John Hughes is a British racing driver currently competing in Formula E with McLaren. He is the winner of the inaugural BRDC Formula 4 Championship and has won multiple races at Formula 3.
Sacha Fenestraz Jules is a French-Argentine racing driver who is currently racing in Formula E with Nissan Formula E Team. He is the 2017 Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 champion.

The 2021 Valencia ePrix was a pair of Formula E electric car races held at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in the town of Cheste near Valencia, Spain on 24 and 25 April 2021. Having previously hosted numerous pre-season tests, this was the inaugural running of a competitive Formula E event at the track, as well as the first time an ePrix was held in Spain. It marked the fifth and sixth rounds of the 2020–21 Formula E season. The first race was won by Nyck de Vries, with Nico Müller and Stoffel Vandoorne rounding out the podium. The second race was won by Maximilian Günther for Maserati's maiden Formula E victory, with Jake Dennis and Mitch Evans completing the podium.
The 2023 Portland ePrix, known for sponsorship reasons as the 2023 Southwire Portland E-Prix, was a Formula E electric car race held at the Portland International Raceway in Portland, Oregon, on 24 June 2023. It served as the 12th round of the 2022–23 Formula E season and was the inaugural running of the Portland ePrix.
The 2023 London ePrix, known for sponsorship reasons as the 2023 Hankook London E-Prix, was a pair of Formula E electric car races held at the ExCeL London Circuit in the Royal Docks area of Newham, London on 29 and 30 July 2023. They served as the 15th and 16th rounds of the 2022–23 Formula E season and the 5th running of the London ePrix.
