2024 British Rally Championship

The British Rally Championship is a rallying series run over the course of a year, that comprises six tarmac and gravel surface events. [1] 2024 is to be the 66th season of the series. The season begins in Lancashire on 22 March and is due to conclude on 26 October in the Welsh forests.

For season 2024 there will be six events, three on gravel and three on closed road tarmac surfaces. [2]

2024 British Rally Championship for Drivers

Scoring system [4]

Top finishing crews score points as follows: 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2. All crews who finish a rally will be awarded 1 point.

Drivers may nominate one event as their 'joker', on which if they finish in the top five they will score additional points: 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.

There will be two full points scoring opportunities on the Rali Ceredigion. Full championship points will be available in both Leg 1 and Leg 2 of the rally.

For the final round of the Championship, the points total for that rally will be multiplied by 1.5. Joker points will not be effected by this multiplier

Competitors five best scores will count towards their championship total.

The 2018 Wales Rally GB was a motor racing event for rally cars that took place over four days from 4 to 7 October 2018. The event was open to entries competing in World Rally Cars and cars complying with Group R regulations. It marked the seventy-fourth running of Rally Great Britain and was the eleventh round of the 2018 FIA World Rally Championship, the highest class of competition in international rallying. Sixty crews, including manufacturer teams and privateers, were entered to compete in the World Rally Championship, the FIA World Rally Championship-2 and FIA World Rally Championship-3 support series and the MSA British Rally Championship. The 2018 event was based in Deeside in Flintshire and consisted of twenty-three special stages throughout North and Mid-Wales. The rally covered a total competitive distance of 318.34 km and an additional 1,083.01 km in transport stages.

The season began in the forests of Wales on 8 February and was due to conclude on 19 September in Southern Scotland.
