The 2024 North Carolina Tar Heels baseball team represented the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the 2024 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Tar Heels played their home games at Boshamer Stadium as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. They were led by head coach Scott Forbes, in his fourth season as head coach. Forbes was assisted by Bryant Gaines, Jesse Wierzbicki, and Jason Howell. Dave Arendas served as director of operations.

Previous season

In Forbes' third year as head coach, the Tar Heels regressed from their 2021 campaign. Finishing the season 36–24, the 2023 Tar Heels beat Virginia and Georgia Tech in their pool before losing in the semifinals to the eventual champion Clemson in the ACC Tournament. The Tar Heels received an at-large bid in the Terre Haute regional as a part of the NCAA Tournament. They lost to Iowa in the opening game but beat Wright State to force an elimination game against Iowa, who they lost to again in 13 innings.

The Wolfpack played their home games at Doak Field as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. They were led by head coach Elliott Avent, his 22nd season at NC State. The Wolfpack finished the season 2nd in the ACC's Atlantic Division with a record of 42–18, 19–11 in conference play. They qualified for the 2018 Atlantic Coast Conference baseball tournament, and were eliminated in pool play. They were invited to host the Raleigh Regional in the 2018 NCAA Division I baseball tournament. They lost in the regional final to Auburn.

The Wolfpack finished the season 2nd in the ACC's Atlantic Division with a record of 42–19, 18–12 in conference play. They qualified as the three seed for the 2019 Atlantic Coast Conference baseball tournament, winning group C, and were eliminated in the semi-finals by Georgia Tech. The 2024 Clemson Tigers baseball team were the varsity intercollegiate baseball team that represented Clemson University during the 2024 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Tigers competed in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and were led by second-year head coach Erik Bakich. Clemson played its home games at Doug Kingsmore Stadium in Clemson, South Carolina.

The 2024 Iowa Hawkeyes baseball team will represent the University of Iowa during the 2024 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Hawkeyes will play their home games at Duane Banks Field as a member of the Big Ten Conference. They will be led by head coach Rick Heller, in his eleventh season with the program.
