War Memorial Stadium, also known as Jonah Field at War Memorial Stadium, is an outdoor college football stadium in the western United States, located on the campus of the University of Wyoming in Laramie.
The Wyoming Cowboys football program represents the University of Wyoming in NCAA college football. They compete in the Mountain West Conference of the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of NCAA Division I and have won 14 conference titles. The head coach is Jay Sawvel who is entering his first season as head coach in 2024 after previously serving as the Wyoming Defense Coordinator for the previous four seasons.
Ryan Kenneth Yarborough is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the New York Jets in the second round of the 1994 NFL draft. Yarbourough played college football for the Wyoming Cowboys and was one of the most prolific receivers in college football history. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2025.
