The 2025 Akron Zips football team represents the University of Akron in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) during the 2025 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Zips are led by Joe Moorhead in his fourth year as the head coach. The Zips play their home games at InfoCision Stadium, located in Akron, Ohio.

Contents

Akron is ineligible for postseason play regardless of their final record due to an insufficient Academic Progress Rate, becoming the first FBS team to become ineligible for postseason play due to APR since the 2014 Idaho Vandals. [1]
