The 29th Saturn Awards, honoring the best in science fiction, fantasy and horror film and television in 2002, were held on May 18, 2003, at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles, California. [1] This ceremony revived the Best Animated Film category, which had been last given out at the 10th Saturn Awards in 1983. The nominees were announced on March 6, 2003. [2]
