999 is a Malaysian investigative reality television series show that has aired on TV3 continuously since 3 January 2002. The show is currently being hosted by Sofea Nursolehha Tun.
Former hosts of the show were Zakiah Anas, Mazidul Akmal Sidek, Halim Din and Omar Abdullah. In its first year, it was one of Malaysia's most watched TV programmes with an audience of over three million. [1]
999 has made an appearance in the Malaysian action movie J2: Retribusi starring Zul Ariffin, Ashraf Sinclair and former 999 host Anim Ezati, serving as a cameo of herself during the ending scene and it's Disney Hotstar premiering in 2021. The show has also made an appearance in the Malaysian drama Gerak Khas Undercover, aired by TV3 starring Khalida Balqis as Alia in 2021. [ citation needed ]

Ahmad Fairuz bin Sheikh Abdul Halim is a retired Malaysian lawyer who served as the fourth Chief Justice of Malaysia. A controversial figure, he held that position from 2003 to 2006. In August 2006, he courted controversy by suggesting the abolishment of English Common Law to be replaced by Islamic Syariah Law. In September 2007, he was implicated in a 'judicial fixing' scandal. He retired in November 2006 and was replaced on 2 November 2006 by Abdul Hamid Mohamad as the Chief Justice.

Mohd Sidek bin Hassan is a Malaysian former civil servant, who served in the Administrative and Diplomatic Service of the Malaysian Civil Service from 1974 to 2012, with the last six years as the Chief Secretary to the Government of Malaysia. The Order of the Defender of State is the sole order of chivalry of the state of Penang which was constituted in 1967 by then Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Dato' Seri Utama Raja Uda Raja Muhammad to recognize eminent contributions of individuals towards Penang and the nation. The order was initially constituted in three grades of Knight Grand Commander, Companion, and Member. Later, other grades were added to the order. Currently, the order is conferred in six grades.
