Coldcut are an English electronic music duo composed of Matt Black and Jonathan More. Credited as pioneers for pop sampling in the 1980s, Coldcut are also considered the first stars of UK electronic dance music due to their innovative style, which featured cut-up samples of hip-hop, soul, funk, spoken word and various other types of music, as well as video and multimedia. According to Spin, "in '87 Coldcut pioneered the British fad for 'DJ records'".

VJing is a broad designation for realtime visual performance. Characteristics of VJing are the creation or manipulation of imagery in realtime through technological mediation and for an audience, in synchronization to music. VJing often takes place at events such as concerts, nightclubs, music festivals and sometimes in combination with other performative arts. This results in a live multimedia performance that can include music, actors and dancers. The term VJing became popular in its association with MTV's Video Jockey but its origins date back to the New York club scene of the 70s. In both situations VJing is the manipulation or selection of visuals, the same way DJing is a selection and manipulation of audio.
Mixmasters was a late-night music show, and later a DVD series, of audio-visual and DJ:VJ mixes produced by AV artists Addictive TV. The series ran from 2000 to 2005 and aired in the United Kingdom on ITV. It has since been screened in a number of countries worldwide. Swedish House Mafia (SHM) is a Swedish house music supergroup consisting of Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso. The group officially formed in late 2008, were placed at number ten on the DJ Mag Top 100 DJ Poll 2011, and have been called "the faces of mainstream progressive house music", while being credited for "setting the tone for the EDM boom of the early 2010s, more than any other act in modern dance music". In 2012, they were ranked at number twelve on the DJ Mag Top 100 Poll. The trio is best known for their biggest hit single to date, "Don't You Worry Child".

He remains the third-most DJ-supported producer in the world for two consecutive years on 1001Tracklists Top 101 Producers Rankings.

Orchestra of Samples is a film and audio project by audio/video artists and producers Addictive TV. It's a unique endeavor breaking down cultural and musical barriers based on sampling recording sessions with over 200 musicians around the world while travelling in South America, Asia, the Middle-East, North & West Africa and across Europe. Since 2010, the artists filmed the improvised sessions with musicians playing all manner of instruments from localized traditional to contemporary and newly invented, sampling and splicing them to create new music. In 2017 it was released as an album on German label Studio !K7.

He was ranked 23rd on DJ Mag's 2015 Top 100 DJs poll and was awarded highest new entry for the year. In the same poll he elevated to 12th in 2016 and 2017, and again in 2020. He was ranked 11th in the same poll in 2021. In July 2017, he launched Dharma Worldwide, a sublabel of Spinnin' Records. KSHMR has performed live at many music festivals like Coachella, Tomorrowland, EDC, Ultra and Sunburn.
