Akhisar Museum, is an archaeology and ethnography museum located in the Akhisar, Turkey.
The museum building was built in 1933 and it was used as a junior high school up to 1992. Between 1994-2007 it was the teachers' lodge of Akhisar. After a period of restoration it was opened as a museum in 2012.
There are 11 rooms in the two-storey building. In the natural history section, there are some examples of the natural history such as 11-18 million years-old fossils. In archaeology section, ceramics of the 6000–3000 years B.C., Hellenistic ceramics, figurines, oil lamps, steles, gold, silver and glass objects are exhibited. Lyre playing Eros from 500 B.C., stamp of Heracles and various objects from the Roman Empire era are also in this section. [1] In the ethnography section kitchen tools, oil lamps from Ottoman Empire era and weapons are exhibited. A special section is reserved for the almost forgotten professions of Akhisar like tinsmithing and saddle making. The most important of these is the tobacco works, the main source of revenue around Akhisar. [2]
Following the proclamation of the Republic, Turkish museums developed considerably, mainly due to the importance Atatürk had attached to the research and exhibition of artifacts of Anatolia. When the Republic of Turkey was proclaimed, there were only the İstanbul Archaeology Museum called the "Asar-ı Atika Müzesi", the Istanbul Military Museum housed in the St. Irene Church, the Islamic Museum in the Suleymaniye Complex in Istanbul and the smaller museums of the Ottoman Empire Museum in a few large cities of Anatolia.

It is regarded as Armenia's national museum and is located on Republic Square in Yerevan. The state financially supports the museum and owns both the collection and the building. The museum carries out conservation and restoration work and publishes works on Armenian architecture, archaeology, ethnography, and history. They also have published a series of reports on archaeological excavations since 1948. The museum carries out educational and scientific programs on Armenian history and culture as well.

Alanya Archaeological Museum is an archaeological museum in Alanya, Turkey. The museum is divided into two sections, with displays of archaeological and ethnographic artifacts. It contains numerous ceramic, marble, bronze and glass pieces and mosaics from the Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine periods. Of particular note is its 2nd century bronze statue of Hercules, which measures 52 centimetres (20 in) in height. The museum, which was established in 1967, was refurbished in 2012.

The museum also has a section devoted to ancient coin finds.
