Alexander David Smith (born 6 March 1988) is an English track and field athlete competing in the hammer throw.
Born in Hull, he is the son of Dave Smith, a former Commonwealth Games champion in the hammer. [1] [2] His first international medal came at the 2005 World Youth Championships in Athletics, where he was the bronze medallist. [3]
In 2010 he finished second at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi with a personal best of 72.95 metres. [4] He improved his personal best to 75.63 m in 2012 and was selected to represent Great Britain at the London 2012 Olympic Games, where he reached the final and finished 12th. [5] At the 2014 Commonwealth Games, he finished 4th with a throw of 70.99m. [6]

Koji Alexander Murofushi, is a former Japanese-Romanian hammer thrower and sports scientist. He has been among the world elite since the 2001 World Championships, where he won the silver medal. He was the 2004 Olympic champion. In 2011, he was crowned world champion.

Dylan Armstrong is a Canadian athletics coach and retired competitive shot putter. He is the 2008 Olympic bronze medalist, a two-time World Athletics Championships medalist, a two-time Pan American Games champion, and the 2010 Commonwealth Games champion in that discipline. He was awarded his Olympic bronze medal in 2015, seven years after the event, following the doping disqualification of competitor Andrei Mikhnevich.

Sène is a three-time winner at the African Championships and was the gold medallist at the 2011 All-Africa Games and silver medallist at the 2015 All-Africa Games. She also competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics and the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Leslie Arthur Copeland is a javelin thrower from Fiji. His father died when he was nine, but his father's sister aided him in getting an education. He attended Marist Brothers High School and later became a champion thrower. He represented Fiji at the 2012 Summer Olympics. At the 2012 Olympics, he was one place away from making the final. He represented Fiji at the 2011 and 2013 World Championships. In the javelin throw event, he ranked 13th with a seasonal best mark but did not advance to the final. In 2016, he threw a personal best throw of 81.76m in Sydney, Australia.
