Algoriphagus is a genus in the phylum Bacteroidota (Bacteria). ^[1]

Etymology

The name Algoriphagus derives from:
Latin masculine gender noun algor -oris, cold; Greek masculine gender noun phagos, glutton; Neo-Latin masculine gender noun Algoriphagus, the cold eater. ^[2]
