In July 2018, Alice Wright moved to Flagstaff, Arizona to train under coach Ben Rosario at Northern Arizona Elite.

In August 2018, Wright placed 6th while representing Team GB at the 2018 European Athletics Championships in 10,000 metres. [1]

NCAA

In college, Wright was an 11-time NCAA Division I All-American (8-1st Team, 3-2nd Team) at University of New Mexico. [3]

In 2017, the New Mexico Lobos women's cross country won NCAA Division I cross country team title with individual winner Ednah Kurgat 1st (19:19.5). Weini Kelati placed 7th (19:35.77), Charlotte Prouse placed 12th (19:48.93), Alice Wright placed 14th (19:49.73), Alondra Negrón Texidor placed 85th (20:36.67), Alex Buck placed 105th (20:44.88) and Kieran Casey placed 123rd (20:54.21). The 2017 team was University of New Mexico's 8th-straight top-10 performance at the NCAA Championships — the longest active streak in NCAA Women's Division I Cross Country Championship history. [4]

In 2016, Alice Wright lead the New Mexico Lobos women's cross country team to a seventh-place finish in the NCAA Division I cross country Championships. [5]

In 2015, Courtney Frerichs 5th place (19:48.0) lead New Mexico Lobos women's cross country to an NCAA Division I cross country team title scoring 49 points, followed by Alice Wright 6th place (19:53.1), Rhona Auckland 13th place (20:07.1), Calli Thackery 15th place (20:07.3), Molly Renfer 24th place (20:17.5), Heleene Tambet 74th (20:40.4), and Whitney Thornburg 104th place (20:55). In 2014, Alice Wright lead the New Mexico Lobos women's cross country team to an NCAA Division I cross country team championship title, placing 3rd. [7] [8]

Early life and prep

Older sister competed for Great Britain in European Rowing Championships.

Alice Wright won the 3000-meters in 2011 with a personal best of 9:39.

[11] Wright led her county at mini race (5k) at 2011 London Marathon. Worcester AC's Alice Wright lead the West Midlands challenge at 2011 London Mini Marathon on Sunday 17 April after convincingly winning the West Midlands Trial race at Stourport Cycle Track in a time of 17 minutes 38 seconds. Courtney Frerichs is an American middle-distance runner from Nixa, Missouri, who specializes in steeplechase. Frerichs placed second in steeplechase behind Emma Coburn and ahead of Colleen Quigley at the 2016 US Olympic Trials to qualify to represent the United States at the 2016 Summer Olympics. She won the silver medal at the 2017 World Championships, becoming the seventh fastest woman in the history of the event. Emma Coburn won the gold medal at the same event, thus making Coburn and Frerichs the first female Americans to win the gold and silver medal in any individual World Championships or Olympics race longer than 400 meters since the 1912 Stockholm Games.

Allison "Allie" Ostrander is an American long-distance runner from Soldotna, Alaska. The 2020 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships was the 82nd annual NCAA Men's Division I Cross Country Championship and the 40th annual NCAA Women's Division I Cross Country Championship to determine the team and individual national champions of NCAA Division I men's and women's collegiate cross country running in the United States. In all, four different titles were contested: men's and women's individual and team championships. Results were track and field results reporting system. In the men's 10k, Conner Mantz of Brigham Young University took home the individual title in 29:26.1, while Northern Arizona University won the team title, scoring 60 points and defeating second-placed University of Notre Dame (87) and third-placed Oklahoma State University (142). In the women's 6k, Mercy Chelangat of the University of Alabama won the individual title in 20:01.1, while Brigham Young University won the team title with 96 points, beating second-placed NC State University (161) and third-placed Stanford University (207).

Joe Klecker is an American distance runner. He finished 2nd in the NCAA DI XC Championships in 2019 and turned pro with On Running, coached by Dathan Ritzenhein in 2020. Klecker holds PRs of 3:37.55 for 1500m, 7:39.18 for 3000m, 13:06.67 for 5000m, and 27:23.44 for 10000m, all of which were set in his Professional Career.
