Allomicythus is a monotypic genus of Southeast Asian ground spiders containing the single species, Allomicythus kamurai. It was first described by H. Ono in 2009, [2] and has only been found in Vietnam. [1]

They are among the most basal living spiders, belonging to the suborder Mesothelae. In Japan, the Kimura spider is well known.
